Getting Started: Enter the Apartment

Begin by heading into the apartment and having an initial chat with the residents. Once inside, turn left immediately as you enter.

The First Room: Scanning and Hacking Computers

In the first room, you can scan various items if you wish. Move through to the next room where you’ll find two computers that need to be hacked.

Computer One: Local Network

The first computer contains some deleted files. On the local network, you’ll see a door with no power, but this is important—don’t skip it.

Computer Two: Access Code Message

The second computer displays an urgent accident message with critical information: the access code for the main room is 6709. The message also states that you can remotely control access to sector zero from this terminal, and that a black echelon rescue team is already on its way.

Heading Upstairs

After gathering information from the computers, locate the nearby stairway and head upstairs. You’ll notice there’s a lot of blood in the corridor—scan it for additional clues.

The Door Unlock Mechanic

When you accessed the local network on the downstairs computer, it remotely opened the door upstairs. The door will open without any obvious notification, but rest assured—it is unlocked. Use the code 6709 that you found in the email to proceed.

The Upper Room: Scanning and Investigation

Once upstairs, scan everything in this room thoroughly. You’ll notice there’s a hatch on the roof, though it may be difficult to open.

Scanning the Ceiling Cables

Scan the cables on the ceiling of this upper room. These are important for completing your investigation.

Accessing the Roof

Open the hatch to the roof and climb up. Once on the roof, you’ll find a transceiver that needs scanning.

Scan the transceiver, and you’ll engage in a brief chat. There’s also an object down below that you can scan.

Returning Downstairs and Finding Elizabeth

Head back downstairs and look for Elizabeth to continue the conversation. You’ll find her near the secret room.

Leaving the Apartment

Once you’ve completed your investigation, leave the apartment and head back outside.

Drive to the ramen shop and locate Elizabeth on the left side. When you talk to her, you’ll be presented with dialogue options. Important note: all dialogue choices lead to the same outcome, so don’t worry about which option you select.

The Final Step: Meeting Jefferson

The last objective is to report back to Jefferson. Like your conversation with Elizabeth, your dialogue choices with him won’t affect the final outcome or your reward.

You can choose to tell him the truth or not—it’s completely your choice and will result in the same completion and reward either way.
