Talk to Professor Tangroof

Your first step is to locate and speak with Professor Tangroof. He will provide you with the initial guidance needed to progress toward obtaining the Game Boy.

Professor Tangroof will instruct you to raise the environment level. Your goal is to raise the environment level to level five in order to proceed with obtaining the Game Boy.

Prerequisites Before the Environment Quest

Before Professor Tangroof will give you the raise the environment level quest in the Sparkling Skylands, you must complete several important tasks:

Complete All Story Quests

You’ll need to complete all story quests, which involves doing a lot of Tink Master activities.

Build the Big Building

You definitely must construct the big building. Professor Tangroof will not give you the environment quest until you’ve completed this building.

Build the Poke Center (Recommended)

While it’s unclear if building the Poke Center is strictly required to unlock the environment level quest, it’s recommended to build it as well. The creator built both the Poke Center and the big building before receiving the environment quest.

Raise the Environment Level to Level Five

Once you’ve completed the prerequisite tasks, focus on raising the environment level to level five in the Sparkling Skylands.

Return to Professor Tangroof

After you’ve successfully raised the environment level to level five, return to Professor Tangroof and talk to him to hand in the quest and receive your Game Boy.

Unlock the Game Boy System Recipe

Upon completing the environment level quest and receiving your Game Boy, you’ll also unlock the Game Boy system recipe for 1,000 coins. However, you receive one Game Boy for free when completing the quest, so you don’t need to purchase the recipe right away.
