How to Make & Unlock Rail Tracks in Pokopia

How to Make & Unlock Rail Tracks in Pokopia

Rail tracks are essential structures you’ll encounter throughout Pokopia, particularly in mines. However, the recipe for crafting them isn’t immediately obvious. This guide will walk you through the exact steps needed to unlock and create rail tracks in your game.

Prerequisites: Complete Story Progression

Before you can access the rail track recipe, you’ll need to progress through the main storyline. The first critical step is gathering the necessary ingredients: you’ll need 3 Tours and Tour Coal. With these materials, you can craft Peak Bread using the Bread Oven.

The Bread Oven is part of the story quest progression. If you need help unlocking the oven or finding other recipes, there are dedicated guides available for those features.

Upgrade Your Cut Ability

Once you’ve successfully made Peak Bread from your 3 Tours, you’ll unlock an upgrade to your Cut ability. This upgraded Cut ability is essential for the next phase of your journey, so make sure this upgrade is complete before proceeding.

Navigate to the Cave and Use Your Upgraded Cut

With your upgraded Cut ability in hand, head up the track in front of you. Follow this path until you reach a cave entrance. Inside the cave, you’ll encounter a metal fence that blocks your way forward. Use your newly upgraded Cut ability to break through this obstacle.

Locate the Rail Track Recipe

After cutting through the metal fence, continue into the cave. The rail track recipe is located exactly where you’ll be standing after passing through the fence. Look for a small orange and yellow Pokéball—this contains the recipe you’ve been searching for.

Summary

Unlocking rail tracks in Pokopia requires dedication to the story questline. The key steps are: gather Tours and Tour Coal, craft Peak Bread in the Bread Oven, upgrade your Cut ability, navigate to the cave with your upgraded ability, and finally retrieve the recipe from the orange and yellow Pokéball. Once you have the recipe, you’ll be able to craft rail tracks whenever you need them!
