The environment level is a key progression mechanic in Pokopia. Different items in the PC shop require specific environment level thresholds to unlock. For example, some items may require an environment level of four before they become available for purchase. Your current environment level is displayed when you interact with your Pokemon or check the shop interface.

Two Ways to Increase Environment Level

There are two primary strategies to raise your environment level in Pokopia:

Method 1: Recruit More Pokemon

The first way to boost your environment level is to expand your Pokemon collection. Every time you welcome a new Pokemon into your valley, your environment level increases. Each Pokemon will request specific items they’d like in their home area. For example, Squirtle might ask for a toy. When you place requested items in a Pokemon’s home area (the area with borders around it), that Pokemon’s comfort level increases.

The more you improve each Pokemon’s comfort level, the more your overall environment level increases. This creates a direct connection between individual Pokemon happiness and your progression in the game.
