How to Unlock Avatar in Vampire Survivors

Avatar is one of the unlockable characters in Vampire Survivors. This guide will walk you through the exact steps needed to unlock this character, including navigating the Inlate Library in Inverse mode, defeating the Trixter, solving the piano puzzle, and finding the correct coffin to challenge the Avatar boss.

Prerequisites: Unlocking Inverse Mode

Before you can attempt to unlock Avatar, you need to first unlock Inverse mode in the Inlate Library. Make sure you have completed this requirement and are able to access the Inlate Library’s Inverse mode before proceeding with this guide.

Recommended Equipment

To make this process easier, equip the following items before entering the Inlate Library Inverse mode:

Birds (also called Peach Wown or Peach One)

Ebony Wings

These items will assist you throughout the challenge and prove invaluable when dealing with the Trixter.

Step 1: Locate and Defeat the Trixter

Once you’re in the Inlate Library Inverse mode, search for the Trixter. You’ll find it positioned far to the right, just after the Gold Ring. Defeat the Trixter to proceed to the next phase.

Step 2: Interact With the Piano

After defeating the Trixter, a piano will become available for interaction. Approach the piano and interact with it. You’ll see the Birds you equipped earlier help you press the keys on the piano. Press the designated keys to complete the piano puzzle.

Step 3: Enter the Coffin Chamber

Once you’ve successfully completed the piano puzzle, you’ll be transported to a different map. This new area is filled with multiple coffins. Your task now is to search through all of them to find the one containing the Avatar.

Step 4: Find the Correct Coffin

Open each coffin one by one. Some coffins will have visual effects, but these are false leads. Keep searching systematically through all available coffins until you find the one that actually contains the Avatar. The correct coffin will have the Avatar boss emerge from it.

Step 5: Defeat the Avatar

Once you’ve found the correct coffin and the Avatar appears, engage the boss in combat and defeat it. Successfully defeating the Avatar will unlock this character for your account.
