Port of Many Worlds Quest Guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley Storybook Vale

Welcome to this comprehensive quest guide for the Port of Many Worlds quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Storybook Vale expansion. This is the first quest you’ll encounter when entering the Storybook Vale, and it serves as your introduction to this exciting new area. This guide will walk you through every step needed to complete this quest successfully.

Prerequisites: Required Quests Before Starting

Before you can access the Storybook Vale and begin the Port of Many Worlds quest, you’ll need to complete several foundational quests in the main game. These quests are among the first five you’ll complete in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

Getting Your Special Invitation

Once you’ve completed all the prerequisite quests and finished the initial Storyquest, head over to your mailbox. You’ll find a special invitation to the Storybook Vale waiting for you. Open your mailbox and claim this invitation.

Step 1: Check Your Mailbox for the Quest Notification

After claiming the Storybook Vale invitation, check your mailbox again. You should see a notification that says “Welcome to the Storybook Vale” in the top left corner of your screen. This notification will direct you to talk to Merlin and complete the Port of Many Worlds quest.

Step 2: Locate and Talk to Merlin

The first actionable step is to find Merlin and speak with him. If you want to save time, use this helpful trick: go to your friends list in the Vale, untoggle Merlin’s location, then toggle it back on. This will make him appear right outside his house, making him easy to find.

When you speak to Merlin, he’ll explain that there’s a hidden place in Disney Dreamlight Valley from which you can travel to the farthest reaches of this world. He’ll then ask you to meet him inside the Disney Dreamlight Castle.

Step 3: Head to the Disney Dreamlight Castle

Fast travel or make your way up to the Disney Dreamlight Castle. Once you’re inside the castle, you’ll need to follow Merlin upstairs to the gate in the Dream Castle.

Step 4: Follow Merlin Through the Gate

Merlin will lead you to the gate in the Dream Castle and open it up for you. Once the gate is open, you can pass through by pressing Enter.

Step 5: Complete the Quest at Stardust Port

After passing through the gate, you’ll arrive at the Stardust Port. Talk to Merlin one final time, and make sure to click the “Port of Many Worlds” dialogue option to complete the quest.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the Port of Many Worlds quest.
