Starting the Quest: Meet the Fairy Godmother

To begin the Forgotten Memories friendship quest, head to the Tree House in the Forgotten Lands. Look for the Fairy Godmother inside and talk to her to start the quest.

Once you’ve spoken with her, you’ll step through a gate in the Dreamscape to uncover the first forgotten lost memory. Interestingly, you’ll be playing as the Forgotten version of yourself at this point in the quest.

Speaking with Mickey and Collecting Wilting Flowers

After entering the Dreamscape, you’ll encounter Mickey. Speak with him to see what he wants—his dialogue choices are quite amusing!

Following your conversation with Mickey, you’ll need to pick up five Wilting Flowers scattered around the area. These flowers are essential for crafting an item Mickey needs. Simply explore the immediate surroundings and collect all five Wilting Flowers you find.

Crafting the Hideous Bouquet

With five Wilting Flowers collected, head to the crafting station near Goofy’s house. Look for the Hideous Bouquet recipe under Functional Items and craft it.

The name “Hideous Bouquet” perfectly captures the sad nature of what you’re creating—but it’s exactly what you need for the next step.

Giving the Bouquet to Minnie and Returning to Mickey

Find Minnie in the area and give her the Hideous Bouquet you just crafted. This triggers the next phase of the quest.

After speaking with Minnie, return to Mickey to continue the quest. He’ll have another request for you.

Speaking with Goofy and Collecting Rotten Items

Next, you’ll need to speak with Goofy, as he wants something from you. He’ll request that you gather four specific rotten items:

1 Rotten Tomato

1 Rotten Carrot

Locating the Rotten Clams

The first Rotten Clam can be found by the small pool in the area. Look for the dark black cloud hovering above items—this visual indicator helps you spot what you’re looking for.

The second Rotten Clam is located near the trellis close to another pool area.

Finding the Rotten Tomato

The Rotten Tomato is positioned behind the barrels in the area, right near where Mickey is standing. It’s easy to spot once you know where to look.

Collecting the Rotten Carrot

The Rotten Carrot can be found behind Goofy’s house. Head there and you’ll locate it without difficulty.

Cooking the Nasty Bulibu

With all four rotten items collected, it’s time to cook. Open your recipes and look for the Nasty Bulibu recipe. Use the autofill feature to quickly gather all necessary ingredients and start cooking.

Once cooked, you’ll have a deliciously rotten meal that’s “rotten to the core”—perfect for giving to Goofy.

Delivering the Nasty Bulibu and Speaking with Minnie

Bring the cooked Nasty Bulibu to Goofy and give it to him. After this exchange, Minnie will want to speak with you.

After speaking with Minnie, an orb will emerge—and this is where the quest becomes truly special. The orb reveals how the valley became what it is today. This magical sequence shows the orb transforming and falling from the Pillar of Friendship, which directly explains the valley’s current state when you first entered it.

Collecting the Memory and Completing the Quest

Collect the memory from the pedestal that appears after the orb sequence. This completes a major story milestone.

Finally, return to the Fairy Godmother and speak with her to officially complete the Forgotten Memories friendship quest.
