Head to Goofy’s house to access a crafting table. At the crafting station, you’ll need 250 dreamlight to create one dream shard. You’ll need to craft 10 of these in total.

Step 2: Combine Dream Shards at the Crafting Station

Once you’ve gathered all 10 dream shards, bring them to Merlin. He’ll instruct you to combine them at your crafting station to release their power. This is one of the base forms of magic in the valley.

At the crafting table, you’ll combine your dream shards into dreamlight. When you remove or delete some of the forms during crafting, you may receive crystallized dream shards back—this is how you obtain the shards in the first place.

Step 3: Discover the Source of Dream Shards

After crafting, Merlin reveals important information: the dream shards come from clearing the night forms scattered throughout the valley. The forms themselves are made of dreamlight, which explains their composition.

This discovery leads Merlin to suggest gathering more ingredients to create an enchantment that could potentially help combat the night forms threatening the valley.

Step 4: Gather Fruits and Herbs

Merlin asks you to collect specific ingredients from the plaza and meadow areas. You’ll need to gather the following items:

6 Bananas

6 Apples

4 Dandelions

4 White Daisies

Collecting Bananas

Bananas can be found in the meadow. There is a banana tree here that you can harvest freely. There’s also another banana tree near the beach area and additional ones in front of you in the meadow. Harvest these to collect all 6 bananas needed.

Collecting Apples

You likely have an apple tree in your own personal garden area. Harvest these for free apples. Additionally, there are more apples available next to Scrooge McDuck’s house. Collect a total of 6 apples.

Collecting Dandelions

Dandelions grow all over the upper areas of the valley. You’ll find them scattered throughout—one is located behind Mickey’s house, and there are several others nearby. Collect 4 dandelions total.

Collecting White Daisies

White daisies are located in the meadow area. You can find them by exploring the lower meadow section. Collect 4 white daisies to complete your ingredient list.

Step 5: Return to Merlin with Your Ingredients

Once you’ve collected all the required items—6 bananas, 6 apples, 4 dandelions, and 4 white daisies—bring them back to Merlin.

Step 6: Merlin Creates the Watering Can Enchantment

Merlin will craft these ingredients into an enchantment for your watering can. This enchantment will allow you to obliterate mushrooms entirely and instantly.

When you ask if this magic can be used to prevent night forms from growing, Merlin confirms it’s something to work towards, but warns you not to use the enchantment on night forms yet—it won’t have any effect on magical plants. He suggests starting with the mushrooms instead.

Step 7: Test the Enchantment on Mushrooms

Merlin will lead you to the meadow near the entrance to the Glade of Trust. He explains that the enchantment is temporary, meaning after this quest, you won’t be able to permanently remove all mushrooms from your valley yet.

Your task is to use the watering can on the mushrooms in the meadow near the entrance to the Glade of Trust.

Using the Enchanted Watering Can

Equip your watering can by pressing Tab or pressing 2. Approach the mushrooms in the corner of the meadow. Right-click on them with the enchanted watering can, and you’ll see the mushrooms dissolve instantly.

After successfully dissolving the mushrooms with your enchanted watering can, Merlin will congratulate you. The quest concludes with the completion of your new enchantment, and you’ll have unlocked a powerful tool for managing the vegetation in your valley.
