Getting Started: Location Overview

The Broken Monument Quest takes place in the Scrapyard on the Downbattlegrounds map. You’ll start your search just north of the industrial logo. Keep this reference point in mind as you navigate through the area.

Item 1: First Wave Rations

Head to the broken structure near your starting point in the Scrapyard. Search inside for the rations and pick up the First Wave Rations. Make sure you have adequate inventory space before collecting this item, as it will be added to your inventory.

Item 2: First Wave Tape

From your current location, head north straight out of the exit. You’ll see a broken-down cart and long containers in front of you. Continue moving south toward the Scrapyard sign. Once you spot the containers turning, search the area for the First Wave Tape and add it to your inventory.

Item 3: Compass

Keep moving in the same direction past the containers. You’ll notice several broken-down vehicles scattered in this area. The compass is one of the trickier items to locate—it’s positioned in the middle of these vehicles. Climb on top of one of the vehicles and search carefully. Once you spot it, pick up the Compass.

Completing the Quest

Once you’ve collected all three items (First Wave Rations, First Wave Tape, and Compass), you’re ready to finish the quest. Exit the map and deliver all collected items to Tianwen to complete the Broken Monument Quest.
