Starting at West Village Rooftop

Begin your quest at the top of the building in Buried City, specifically in the West Village area. To reach the roof efficiently, enter the room and take a sharp right turn. Follow the zip line upward—it will take you nearly to the top of the building. Once you reach that point, turn immediately right and climb the stairs to reach the rooftop.

Before heading out, consider bringing a zip line with you, as this will help you navigate the map more efficiently.

Once you’re on the roof, you’ll find the items you need to interact with. Locate and interact with the nutrient item at this location.

Traveling to Grandioso Apartments

After completing the first objective, head to the Grandioso Apartments. You can see this location across the map from West Village. Navigate toward the North Building of the Grandioso Apartments complex.

Completing the Grandioso Apartments Rooftop

The process at Grandioso Apartments is equally straightforward. Climb in through the window from the side of the building, then head up using the zip line and stairs—the same route as the first location.

Once on the roof, locate the moisture meter next to the barrels. Interact with this item to complete the second objective.

Extracting and Completing the Quest

After you’ve interacted with the moisture meter at Grandioso Apartments, you’ve completed all the required objectives for the Unexpected Initiative quest. Extract from the map safely to finish the quest and claim your rewards.
