Split Rock Treasure Location Guide In The Blood of Dawnwalker

Split Rock Treasure Location Guide in The Blood of Dawnwalker

This guide will walk you through finding and collecting the Split Rock treasure in The Blood of Dawnwalker. We’ll cover everything from locating the treasure map to digging up the final reward, including a helpful tip about acquiring a shovel that differs from other treasure hunts in the game.

Getting the Treasure Map

Your first step is to obtain the Bandit’s Treasure Map labeled “Rock Falls Split Rock.” Head to the marked location where the treasure map is available.

Traveling to Rocky Glade

Once you have the treasure map in hand, travel to Rocky Glade. This is your starting point for the journey to the treasure location.

Following the Path

From Rocky Glade, follow the path upward as indicated by your map. Along the way, you can grab items of value if you wish, but focus on heading toward the treasure location marked by the map icon.

Locating the Dig Site

Navigate precisely to the location shown by the icon on your map—not just the general area, but the exact spot. Head down into the marked area. When you arrive behind the rock formation, you’ll find the treasure dig site. However, here’s where Split Rock differs from other treasure hunts: there is no shovel located near the dig site.

A Unique Challenge: Finding the Shovel

Unlike previous treasure maps in The Blood of Dawnwalker, the Split Rock treasure does not include a shovel at or around the dig location. This means you’ll need to obtain a shovel from an innkeeper before you can complete the dig.

Purchasing a Shovel from an Innkeeper

Head to the nearest inn and speak with the innkeeper. They sell shovels for purchase. Simply buy the shovel from their inventory.

Digging Up Your Treasure

With your shovel in hand, return to the Split Rock location behind the rock formation. Use your shovel to dig up the treasure at the marked spot, and claim your reward!

Summary

You’ve successfully completed the Split Rock treasure hunt! Remember that this treasure map is unique because it requires you to find a shovel from an innkeeper rather than locating one at the dig site. Keep this in mind if you get stuck, and don’t forget to check your local innkeeper’s inventory if you find yourself without a shovel at the final dig location.
