Triggering the Tongue Animation

Once you’ve crafted the Dark Frogomorphous weapon, the real grind begins. You need to witness the Tongue Animation of the Frogs a total of 10,000 times.

To speed up this process, consider using an egg-heavy build with a character like Poe, who can have approximately 12,000 eggs. This build accelerates the animation trigger rate and makes the grinding phase more manageable.

Unlocking Jiangshi

Method 1: The Standard Path (10,000 Tongue Attacks)

After you’ve accumulated 10,000 Tongue Animation triggers from the Dark Frogomorphous weapon, simply quit your current run and return to the character selection screen. Jiangshi will now be available for purchase, and buying it will unlock the character permanently.
