Green Hell: How to Use Bandages to Heal Wounds

In Green Hell, managing your health is crucial to survival. One of the most important healing items you’ll need are bandages, which allow you to treat wounds and lacerations sustained during combat or environmental hazards. This guide will walk you through the complete process of identifying wounds and applying bandages to keep yourself alive in the jungle.

Step 1: Identify Your Wounds

The first step to treating any injury is identifying where you’re wounded. To do this, access your radial wheel menu and select the “Inspect” option. This will highlight any wounds or lacerations on your character’s body. In the inspection view, you’ll see a visual representation of your injuries, making it easy to spot problem areas. For example, lacerations from combat with tribe members will be clearly visible and marked for treatment.

Step 2: Craft or Gather Leaf Bandages

Before you can treat wounds, you’ll need to have a leaf bandage in your inventory. If you don’t already have one, you’ll need to craft it. To craft a leaf bandage, gather the following materials:

A mull

Once you have these materials, place them on your crafting rock to create the bandage. If you’ve already prepared leaf bandages in advance, you can skip this step and move directly to application.

Step 3: Access Your Bandage from Your Backpack

Open your backpack menu and locate your leaf bandage in your inventory. You’ll see it listed among your items and consumables.

Step 4: Apply the Bandage to Your Wound

Click on the leaf bandage in your backpack to select it. You’ll notice a small white circle appears on the wound location in your inspection view. Simply drag the bandage item onto this white circle to begin the application process.

Once you drag the bandage onto the wound marker, your character will automatically wrap the bandage around the injury. The animation plays out and the wound is treated. Congratulations—you’ve successfully healed a wound using a bandage!
