All Crate Locations for Blackfell Oil Fields in Once Human

Looking to collect all the crates in the Blackfell Oil Fields? This guide will walk you through every crate location in this Red Sands area, including weapon crates, gear crates, and mystical crates. Whether you’re new to Once Human or just need a quick reference, we’ll show you exactly where to find each crate and how to reach them.

Overview of Blackfell Oil Fields Crates

The Blackfell Oil Fields is located in the Red Sands area, positioned near the center of the region close to the logo. In total, you’ll find six crates throughout this industrial facility:

2 Weapon Crates

2 Gear Crates

2 Mystical Crates

We’ll work our way through the site from south to north, starting on the right-hand side and moving left.

Right-Hand Side Crates

Mystical Crate (South Area)

Start at the rift anchor on the right-hand side of the facility. Head to the southern area near the bottom section of the site.

Navigate through the catwalk located at the bottom of the structure. You can also jump up from the side and locate a ladder that will take you up onto the blue canister. From the very south end of the area, walk along the structure and jump onto the pipes.

Follow this sequence: jump onto the first pipe, then jump onto the next pipe and continue along it. You’ll need to jump over some small obstructions along the way. Head north on the pipe until you reach a gray pipe section.

Walk onto the gray pipe and continue moving north. Stay on the middle section of the gray pipe until you reach a large canister. The mystical crate is located here.

Gear Crate (Right Side Catwalk)

Jump back up onto the gray pipe and run back along to where the pipe intersection is located. Turn right toward the catwalk area. You’ll notice there’s a ladder available for this section, though it may not extend all the way to the ground.

Walk all the way along the catwalk, moving around the pipes as you progress. Your gear crate is at the end of this path.

Weapon Crate (Front Building)

Head forward toward the area with the blue barrel structures. Pass by the yellow trucks and enter the enclosed area ahead.

To reach the weapon crate, follow this climbing sequence: jump onto the red truck, then jump onto the blue crate, followed by the green plates, and finally onto the roof. Note that there is no interior roof access to the building.

Descend and enter through the front door or the side door of the building. The weapon crate is inside.

Central Site Crates

Weapon Crate (Central Stairs)

Head toward the main area of the site, moving toward the location marked by the logo. You’ll see a large central building in this area.

Rather than entering the main central building, locate the barrel section slightly south of it. Go up the stairs in this barrel area, continuing upward as the staircase spirals. Keep climbing until you reach the top.

Your second weapon crate is located at the top of these stairs.

Northwest Side Crates

Gear Crate (Garage Area)

Move to the northwest section of the site. Head up to the garage structure in this northern area and ascend the stairs on the garage. Walk around the structure at the top, and you’ll find your second gear crate.

Mystical Crate (Northern Blue Crates)

Continue to the most northern point of the site, where you’ll see a cluster of blue cargo crates. Look for a small purple glowing object in this area.

Walk through the purple glowing object to trigger its movement. It will relocate ahead of you. Walk through it again, and it will move forward once more. Pass through it a third time to reach your final mystical crate.
