Step 1: Pause and Identify the Infected

When a virus outbreak occurs, your first priority is to pause the game and get a clear picture of the situation. Identify patient zero—the first infected inmate—and note any other prisoners who have contracted the virus. This gives you time to plan your response without the pressure of the outbreak spreading further.

Step 2: Lock Down Infected Inmates

Once you’ve identified an infected prisoner, click on them to open their action menu. Select the option to lock them down for 24 hours or place them in solitary confinement for 24 hours. This isolation prevents the virus from spreading to other inmates in the general population.

Step 3: Call the Paramedics

With infected inmates isolated, navigate to the Emergencies menu and call the paramedics. They will respond to your request and head to your prison to provide medical treatment.

Step 4: Direct Paramedics to Patients
