How To Fix Subsidence In Prison Architect

Subsidence can be a frustrating problem in Prison Architect, but fortunately, it’s quick and easy to fix. This guide will walk you through the simple steps needed to identify and resolve subsidence issues in your prison, keeping your infrastructure stable and your operations running smoothly.

Understanding Subsidence

Subsidence occurs when the ground beneath your prison structures begins to sink or collapse. When this happens, you’ll need to take action to prevent further damage to your buildings and facilities.

How to Fix Subsidence

Step 1: Access the Emergencies Menu

To fix subsidence, start by locating the Emergencies tab at the bottom of your screen. This is where you’ll find all emergency response options available to you.

Step 2: Call the Repairman

Once you’ve opened the Emergencies menu, click on the Repairman option. This will summon a repairman to your prison to handle the subsidence issue.

Step 3: Monitor the Repairman’s Work

After calling the Repairman, watch the right side of your screen where you’ll see the Repairman appear. Wait for them to arrive at the marked subsidence area.

Step 4: Let the Repairman Complete the Fix

The Repairman will automatically locate the subsidence and fix it for you. Once the repair is complete, the Repairman will leave your prison and return to their regular duties.

Step 5: Repeat as Needed

If you discover another subsidence issue elsewhere in your prison, simply repeat the process by accessing the Emergency tab and calling the Repairman again. There’s no limit to how many times you can use this service.

Summary

Fixing subsidence in Prison Architect is straightforward: access your Emergencies menu at the bottom of the screen, call the Repairman, and let them do their job. The Repairman will automatically find and repair any subsidence in your prison. If more subsidence appears later, simply repeat the process. With this simple solution, you can keep your prison’s infrastructure in top condition.
