How To Get Into The Administrative Chamber In Hades

The Administrative Chamber is a special location in Hades that becomes accessible once you’ve progressed far enough in the game. This guide will walk you through the exact steps needed to unlock and enter this restricted area, including the requirements and the purchase necessary to gain access.

Meet the Escape Requirements

To unlock access to the Administrative Chamber, you must first complete between 20-30 escape attempts in Hades. Your escape count serves as a progression gate for this feature, so you’ll need to keep playing through runs until you reach this milestone. Once you have approximately 28 escapes (or somewhere in the 20-30 range), you’ll be ready to proceed to the next step.

Trigger the Dream Sequence

After reaching the required number of escapes, return to your quarters and interact with your bed on the terrace. This action will trigger a special dream sequence where Zagreus remembers his past work in the Administrative Chamber. This memory is essential to the narrative progression that unlocks the chamber.

Purchase Administrative Privilege

Once the dream sequence has been triggered, exit the house of Hades and visit the courtyard area. Look for the Contractor, who offers various upgrades and purchases. You’ll need to spend 2 Diamonds to purchase the “Administrative Privilege” upgrade. Select this option and complete the purchase.

Enter the Administrative Chamber

After purchasing Administrative Privilege, you’ll notice that the west door (previously locked) is now accessible to you. Head to this door and press E to enter the Administrative Chamber. You’ve now successfully gained access to this restricted area!
