How to Unlock Frozenshade in Vampire Survivors

Frozenshade is a powerful character in Vampire Survivors that requires some preparation to unlock. This guide will walk you through the exact steps needed to defeat enough Frozen Shades and add this character to your roster.

Understanding the Unlock Requirements

To unlock Frozenshade, you need to defeat a certain number of Frozen Shades using one of two specific evolved weapons:

Gematorper — the evolved version of the Rock Riot

Jewelgun — the evolved version of the Silver Revolver

In this guide, we used the Jewelgun (the evolved version of the Silver Revolver) while using Coromus Mana, which rewarded us with a treasure chest.

Locating the Frozen Shades

Finding Frozen Shades is the first critical step. Follow these navigation directions to reach them:

Step 1: Teleport to Serpent’s Gate

Use the Teleporter and select Serpent’s Gate as your destination.

Step 2: Navigate Right

Once you arrive at Serpent’s Gate, head to the right side of the area and continue moving right.

Step 3: Move Upward

From your current position, go up.

Step 4: Continue Right to Dead End

After moving up, continue heading right in a straight line until you reach a dead end.

Step 5: Descend into the Cave

At the dead end, move downward to enter a cave. This is where you’ll find the Frozen Shades.

Defeating the Frozen Shades

Once you’ve located the Frozen Shades in the cave, begin defeating them using your Jewelgun or Gematorper. Continue defeating them until you’ve reached the required number for the unlock.

Completing the Unlock

After you’ve defeated enough Frozen Shades, quit the current run and return to the Character Selection screen. You should now see Frozenshade available for purchase. Simply buy her to officially unlock the character.
