How to Unlock Maxim in Vampire Survivors

Maxim is an exclusive character in Vampire Survivors that requires completing specific prerequisites and weapon evolutions to unlock. This guide walks you through each step needed to add Maxim to your roster.

Prerequisites: Obtain the Black Disk

Before you can unlock Maxim, you must first obtain the Black Disk. This item is acquired by completing the Castlevania stage with Ritchter Belmont and witnessing the ending sequence.

Evolving Zeus’s Weapon

Gather Required Items

Once you have the Black Disk, the next step involves using Zeus and evolving his weapon. To evolve Zeus’s weapon, you’ll need:

Zeus (as your active character)

Condela Brador

Both items at maximum level

Complete the Evolution

Once both items are maxed out, obtain a treasure chest during gameplay. This will trigger the weapon evolution.

The evolution will transform Zeus’s whip into its evolved form: the Stay Breaker Tip.

Unlock Maxim

After successfully evolving Zeus’s weapon into the Stay Breaker Tip, quit your current run. This action will automatically unlock Maxim.

Navigate to the character selection menu to confirm Maxim is now available. Simply purchase him to add him to your playable characters.
