Initial Contact and Braindance Investigation

Begin by receiving a phone call requesting your assistance at a specific location. Upon arrival, you’ll meet a husband and wife who need your help. After the initial conversation, you’ll enter the braindance sequence.

Braindance Scanning Sequence

The braindance investigation requires careful attention to timing and layer switching. Follow these steps:

At approximately 13 seconds: Pause and begin scanning. Start by scanning the mayor. Then use Tab + Shift to switch layers and locate the audio layer.

At approximately 30 seconds: Pause again, switch layers, and scan the door.

At exactly one minute: Exit the room where the people are standing and scan the TV screen or CCTV monitor.

Between one minute and one minute ten: Switch to the audio layer and scan the guy at the elevator. This target can be tricky to lock onto—aim for the left bottom corner of the screen.

At one minute ten onwards: Scan the murderer to complete the braindance investigation.

After completing all scans, exit the braindance.

Post-Braindance Actions

Once the braindance ends, the couple will depart in their helicopter-equipped flying car. Immediately pick up your phone and call River Ward, the detective.

Traveling to Chubby Buffalo’s

River will direct you to travel 1.2 kilometers away to Chubby Buffalo’s diner. Meet River there for a long chat, then exit to his vehicle.

Market Investigation

Next, you’ll arrive at a market where you need to talk to multiple vendors behind the stalls. Speak with several of them to gather information.

Continue your investigation by talking to additional NPCs, including a woman at the market and River Ward.

You’ll then encounter some individuals in an alleyway. Proceed carefully through this encounter.

Delamaine HQ and the Informant

Fast travel to Delamaine HQ, which is located over the ring road. You can find the fast travel point at the market or travel there manually.

Upon arrival at Delamaine HQ, wait for the informant to arrive. This is the same individual you’ll have encountered previously.

Store Chase Sequence

Enter the store and approach the counter. The informant will attempt to escape out the back.

You can force open the back door if you have the required Strength attribute. If you lack sufficient Strength, chase the informant around the alley outside.

Warehouse Investigation

Return to River’s car and converse with him. He will direct you to enter the warehouse opposite.

When entering the warehouse, you have the option to proceed stealthily or engage openly. The warehouse contains numerous epic components and valuable items that you should collect.

Navigating the Warehouse

Locate the main warehouse doors with crates. Open these crate doors to access an elevator that descends into an underground club.

Proceed through the warehouse to find the office upstairs. At the very back of the building is the office you need to access.

Optional Braindance and Network Access

There is an optional braindance sequence available in the warehouse, though it is not recommended.

In the office, access the network and turn everything off. Look through the messages and files to locate a recording—this is the critical piece of evidence you need.

Confrontation and Final Objectives

Confront Detective Han once you have gathered the necessary evidence.

After the confrontation, call River Ward to discuss your findings.

Contact Elizabeth, who will assist the woman who originally hired you.

Final Meeting at the Penthouse

Arrange to meet the woman face-to-face at her residence. While the location appears distant, it is only about two roads away. You can either drive or use the nearby fast travel point at the luxury apartment where she lives.

Upon arrival, use the intercom to announce yourself.

Take the elevator up to her penthouse apartment for the final conversation.

After a lengthy discussion, exit the building to complete the quest.
