Welcome to our complete quest guide for the Illumination quest featuring Woody in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. This quest involves collecting childhood items, crafting a blanket fort, and completing a heartwarming adventure with everyone’s favorite cowboy. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the quest successfully.

Step 1: Examine the Toy Chests in Woody’s House

Begin by heading into the carousel and making your way to Woody’s house. Once inside, locate the big wicker basket and open it to pick up the note inside.

Step 2: Talk to Woody

After you’ve picked up the note, return and talk to Woody to proceed with the quest.

Step 3: Collect Childhood Items from Three Villagers

You’ll need to gather childhood items from three different villagers: Moana, Christoph, and Ariel. Visit each one individually to collect their items.

Collecting from Moana

Start with Moana, who is conveniently located nearby. She will give you a conch shell.

Collecting from Christoph

Next, travel to Christoph, who is also relatively close. He provides you with a wooden troll statue.

Collecting from Ariel

Finally, visit Ariel, the Little Mermaid. If you have an illumination option available, click it. She will give you a lovely little shell item.

Step 4: Give the Items to Woody

Bring all three collected items back to Woody and give them to him by talking to him. This completes the item collection phase of the quest.

Step 5: Craft the Blanket Fort

Now you need to craft a blanket fort. Head to your crafting bench and navigate to the furniture section. The blanket fort requires the following materials:

Fabric

Glass

Rope

Cotton

Soft Wood

Where to Find Each Material

Soft Wood: Pick this up directly from the ground in the Meadow and the Plaza.

Cotton: This can be found or purchased at the stall in Sunlit Plateau.

Rope: Rope is crafted from fiber. Fiber is made from seaweed, which is created from red algae. You can obtain red algae by fishing and other activities at Dazzle Beach.

Fabric: Fabric is crafted from cotton, which you can then purchase and craft in Sunlit Plateau.

Glass: Glass is made from sand and coal. Coal comes from mining, and sand can be obtained by breaking coral on Dazzle Beach or by digging on Dazzle Beach.

Once you’ve gathered all materials, proceed to craft the blanket fort in the furniture section of your crafting bench.

Step 6: Place the Blanket Fort

After crafting the blanket fort, you’ll need to place it. Position it wherever you’d like—the placement is flexible and up to your preference. The blanket fort looks adorable once placed!

Step 7: Take a Picture and Talk to Woody Again

With the blanket fort now placed, take a picture of your creation. This is a key part of the quest objective.

After taking the picture, talk to Woody one more time. When you do, you’ll notice that Woody’s house gets upgraded and is finally working again!

Step 8: Complete the Quest

Talk to Woody once more to finalize the quest. He will reward you with a pull string item, and the Illumination quest will be marked as complete.
