The Sunstone Fragments quest requires you to collect three fragments from different locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Each fragment is only available during specific times of day, which can make completion challenging if you play at limited hours. The three fragments you need to collect are:

Sunlit Plateau fragment (available in the morning)

Glade of Trust fragment (available at midday)

Forest of Valor fragment (available in the evening)

Starting the Quest

Begin by locating and talking to Mavagoffal to initiate the Sunstone Fragments quest.

Fragment 1: Sunlit Plateau (Morning)

The first fragment is located in Sunlit Plateau and spawns in the morning. It will be available at 11 a.m. your local time. You must collect this fragment before 11 a.m., as it disappears after that time. The fragment will be near one of the bridges in this area.

Fragment 2: Glade of Trust (Midday)

The second fragment is found in the Glade of Trust and is only available from midday onwards. This fragment typically disappears around 5 p.m., so you have a limited window to collect it during lunch hours.

Using the Time-Change Method (PC Only)

If you’re playing on PC and cannot access the game at specific times, you can use a workaround by changing your system date and time settings. This method allows you to bypass the in-game time requirements and collect all fragments at your convenience.

How to Change Your System Time

Close Disney Dreamlight Valley completely. Go to your desktop and access your system settings. Select the option to change the date and time. Adjust the time forward by a few hours to match when you need the next fragment to be available. For example, if you need to access a fragment available at 1 p.m. but it’s currently 10 a.m. in your timezone, add three hours to your system time.

After adjusting your system time, relaunch Disney Dreamlight Valley. The game should now recognize the new time, and the fragments for that time period should be available for collection.

Note: This method appears to work more reliably for morning and midday fragments. Evening fragments (7 p.m. onwards) may require you to wait until the actual evening time or replay during those hours, as the time-change workaround doesn’t consistently work for evening collections.

Collecting the Midday Fragment

Once you’ve adjusted your system time and relaunched the game, navigate to the Glade of Trust. The fragment should now be visible and available for pickup. Look around the glade area to locate it.

Fragment 3: Forest of Valor (Evening)

The third and final fragment is located in the Forest of Valor and is available from 7 p.m. to midnight (11:59 p.m.). This fragment is near Anna’s house on the right-hand side of the Forest of Valor area.

If the system time-change method doesn’t work for the evening fragment, you may need to either wait until the actual evening time to play or return to complete this portion of the quest during evening hours.

Completing the Quest

Once you’ve successfully collected all three Sunstone Fragments from Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, and Forest of Valor, make your way back to Mavagoffal. Talk to her and deliver all three fragments to complete the quest.
