Step 1: Crafting the Carousel Repair Kit

Your first objective is to speak with Christoph, who will ask you to craft a carousel repair kit so you can repair the carousel.

Gathering Materials for the Carousel Repair Kit

Head to your crafting station and locate the carousel repair kit in the Functional Items section. You’ll need the following materials:

Fabric – Made from cotton. You can find cotton in the Sunlit Plateau.

Hardwood – Found lying around throughout the valley.

Softwood – Also found lying around.

Ironing – Crafted from iron ore and coal ore, which you can mine from rocks.

Crafting and Delivering the Kit

Once you’ve gathered all the materials, craft the carousel repair kit at your crafting station.

Pro Tip: If you’re having trouble locating Woody, you can deselect him from the map, then enable him again to make him appear outside his house. This is especially helpful if you’ve placed his house far away in your valley.

Give the carousel repair kit to Woody. You’ll see the carousel become repaired, though it will still look quite old. After giving him the kit, talk to Woody again—he’ll give you a notepad with your next objectives.

Step 2: Gathering Materials from the Wally Realm

Finding the Wally Realm

You now need to find replacement fuses and electrical components specifically in the Wally Realm. Head to the Dizzy Dreamlight Castle. The Wally Realm entrance is located on the bottom floor on the left side.

Mining for Materials

Once inside the Wally Realm, look for sparkling holes and dig them up to collect the materials you need. You’ll find replacement fuses and electrical components scattered throughout. While you can also stomp on trash to collect items, the sparkling holes are your most reliable source for the required materials.

Continue digging up sparkling holes until you’ve collected all the necessary materials. You’ll need luck to find the exact items, but they are distributed among all the sparkling holes in the realm.

Step 3: Crafting the Fuse Box

Gathering Fuse Box Materials

Return to your crafting station. Locate the fuse box in the Functional Items section. This item requires:

Glass – Crafted from sand

Ironing – Crafted from iron ore and coal ore

Hardwood – Found lying around

You can obtain sand by digging on Basil Beach or by destroying coral on Basil Beach, which is an efficient way to gather larger quantities of sand.

Crafting and Delivering the Fuse Box

Once you have all materials, craft the fuse box. Give it to Woody, and he’ll lead you to the carousel where he’ll install the fuse box.

Step 4: Assessing Carousel Damage and Cleanup

The Explosion

Unfortunately, installing the fuse box causes an explosion! Head to the carousel to assess the damage. Everything inside will be sparking and damaged.

Gathering Carousel Items

Talk to Woody inside the carousel to learn what needs to be collected. You’ll need to gather:

Alien Toys – Three in total, scattered around the carousel interior. One is near the seats, one in the corner, and one behind the photo booth.

Claw Machine Pieces – Ten in total, resembling nuts and bolts scattered across the floor.

The Claw Itself – Located at the back of the carousel near the podium.

Quest Completion

Bring all collected items to Woody. After speaking with him one final time, you’ll complete “A Bit of a Fixer Upper” quest.
