Starting the Quest: Talk to Olaf

Begin by locating and talking to Olaf. He will task you with gathering specific items needed for his upcoming production.

Gathering the Required Materials

Olaf needs you to collect four types of items. Here’s exactly what you need to find:

Dry wood

Green passion lily

Orange marshmallow weed

White impatience

Where to Find Dry Wood

Dry wood can be found in three locations across the valley. Look for logs or twigs scattered on the ground in:

Forgotten Lands

Frosted Heights

Sunlit Plateau

Where to Find Green Passion Lily

You can gather green passion lilies from the Frosted Heights. Search for flowers with the corresponding green color in this region.

Where to Find White Impatience

White impatience flowers are found in the Forgotten Lands. Look for the white-colored flowers in this area.

Where to Find Orange Marshmallow Weed

Orange marshmallow weed is located in the Glade of Trust. Search for flowers with the orange coloring in this region.

Crafting the Cutouts

Once you’ve collected all four items, head to your crafting station. Navigate to the Furniture section and look for the Cutouts recipe. You only need to craft one set of cutouts for this quest, despite what the multiple items might suggest.

Delivering the Cutouts to Olaf

Return to Olaf and give him the cutouts you’ve just crafted.

Meeting with Anna

Next, you need to find and talk to Anna. If you’re having trouble locating any villager, use this helpful trick: go to the map menu, select the villager’s name, deselect them, then re-enable them. They will automatically appear right outside their house.

Gathering Items for the Costume

Anna needs the following items to craft a costume piece:

Fiber

Fabric

Softwood

Donald’s feathers

Finding Fiber and Fabric

Fiber can be obtained from seaweed. Fabric is crafted at your crafting station, typically made from fiber. Check your crafting recipes for the specific fabric recipe.

Locating Donald’s House and Feathers

Donald’s house is always located near water in the valley. Once you’ve found it, enter and look for Donald’s feathers on the floor. You’ll find four feathers scattered inside that you can collect.

Collect all the feathers you find on the floor in Donald’s house.

Delivering Items to Anna and Receiving the Mask

Return to Anna and give her all the gathered items: fiber, softwood, fabric, and Donald’s feathers. In return, she will craft a Donald Duck mask for the play.

Equipping the Donald Duck Mask

Open your inventory and navigate to your wardrobe. Find the Donald Duck mask under Olaf’s quest items and equip it to see the transformation.

Rehearsing the Play with Olaf

Talk to Olaf and go through the chat options to rehearse the play. During this interaction, Olaf will give you a stage structure that you need to place in the Frosted Heights.

Placing the Stage in Frosted Heights

Open your inventory and go to Furniture. Find the Stage (requested by Olaf) and place it anywhere within the Frosted Heights region. The stage is a fairly large furniture item, so you may need to find a suitable location with enough space.

Once placed, the play should begin automatically.

Completing the Quest

After the play finishes, talk to Olaf one final time to complete the quest. You’ll receive a reward box along with additional items including a snow cloud and permafrost.
