Dreamlight Grove Quest Guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley

This comprehensive quest guide will walk you through the Dreamlight Grove quest with Simba in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Whether you’re a new player or returning adventurer, follow these step-by-step instructions to complete this quest and unlock its rewards.

Starting the Quest

Begin by talking to Simba to initiate the Dreamlight Grove quest. He will guide you through the initial steps of this adventure.

Harvesting Dreamlight Fruit

Your first task is to harvest some Dreamlight fruit from the Dreamlight tree you planted in a previous quest with Simba. Navigate to the tree location and approach it.

To harvest the fruit, walk up to the tree and press E when fruit is available. You’ll collect Dreamlight fruit that you can use for the quest.

Once you’ve harvested the fruit, return to Simba and talk to him. A dialogue option will appear asking if you want to give him a fruit. Select “Yes” to proceed.

Meeting Mother Goffold

After giving the fruit to Simba, your next objective is to locate and talk to Mother Goffold. She will provide additional guidance for the quest.

Collecting Required Items

Mother Goffold will request that you collect several specific items. You’ll need to gather:

Water from Sunlit Plateau

Purified Night Shards

Vitalis Crystals

Crafting Components

To create these items, visit your crafting bench. One essential component is an empty vial, which is crafted from glass. Glass is made from sand and coal.

You can obtain sand by digging on Basil Beach or by breaking coral found there.

Mining Vitalis Crystals

Vitalis Crystals are mined in the Sunlit Plateau mines. Travel to the Sunlit Plateau and head into the mines area. Look for blue crystals throughout the mines—these are your Vitalis Crystals.

Mine each crystal you encounter. You’ll receive one Vitalis Crystal per node mined. You’ll need to collect a total of five Vitalis Crystals.

Collecting Sunlit Plateau Water

While in the Sunlit Plateau mines, look for sparkles on the ground near the water. Interact with these sparkles to automatically collect Sunlit Plateau water without needing to craft it.

Creating Purified Night Shards

At your crafting bench, you can purify onyx to create Night Shards. After obtaining Night Shards, you can then purify them further to create Purified Night Shards. This recipe is found in the Potion and Enchantment section of your crafting menu.

Crafting Dream Night Tree Fertilizer

Once you’ve gathered all the required materials, navigate to your crafting bench. In the Potion and Enchantment section, locate the Dream Night Tree Fertilizer recipe.

This recipe combines:

Vitalis Crystals

Purified Night Shards

Sunlit Plateau Water

Dreamlight Fruit

Empty Vial

Craft the Dream Night Tree Fertilizer and it will be added to your inventory.

Using the Fertilizer

With the Dream Night Tree Fertilizer in your inventory, you can use it anywhere in the valley. Simply access your inventory and use the item to apply the fertilizer.

Watering Flowers Across the Valley

After using the fertilizer, return to Simba for further instructions. He will direct you to water flowers in three specific locations throughout the valley:

The Glade of Trust

Frosted Heights

The Forgotten Lands

Travel to each location and water the flowers you find. While flowers don’t normally require watering in the game, this is a quest-specific task. Important note: you cannot water the same flower multiple times. You must water different flowers in each area.

Visit Frosted Heights and water the flowers there.

Then proceed to the Forgotten Lands and water flowers in that region.

Finally, visit the Glade of Trust and complete the flower watering objective there.

The Final Cutscene

Once you’ve watered flowers in all three locations, return to Simba once more.

Simba will invite you to follow him to the Dreamlight tree. Accompany him to the tree location.

Talk to Simba again when you arrive at the tree. He will then run off to speak with Nana, and you’ll witness their conversation together.

After Simba and Nana have finished their dialogue, talk to Simba one final time. He will reward you with a beautiful painting for completing the quest.

Quest Complete!

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the Dreamlight Grove quest. Simba’s painting is now yours to keep and display in your valley. This quest showcases the bond between Simba and Nana while providing valuable rewards for your progress in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
