Starting the Quest with Simba

Begin by speaking with Simba, who wants to bring everyone in the valley together for a special gathering. He’ll set you on the path to prepare for this community event.

Preparing the Meals

Getting the Cake Recipe from Remy

Head to Remy at the restaurant. He’ll provide you with a recipe for a Rapunzel’s Cake that you need to prepare for the gathering.

For the Rapunzel’s Cake, you’ll need four ingredients: milk, egg, fruit, and something sweet. The final ingredient is sugar cane. Gather all these items and you’ll have:

Sugar cane

Eggs

Fruit

Milk

Open your recipe book and select the cake. Use the autofill button to automatically populate all ingredients. You can also enable the option to skip the result screen for faster cooking.

Preparing the Large Seafood Platter

The second meal required is a Large Seafood Platter. This dish requires four different types of seafood and a lemon. Any seafood from the available tab will count, so feel free to use what you have on hand.

For this guide, we used clams, oysters, and a lemon. Use the autofill feature again and press start cooking.

Inviting Villagers to the Party

Once both meals are prepared, bring them to Simba. You’ll then need to invite three specific villagers to the gathering:

Goofy

Minnie

Maui

Locate each villager around the valley and speak with them to extend the invitation. Each will agree to attend the party. Start by finding Maui and inviting him.

Next, find Minnie and invite her to join the celebration.

Finally, locate Goofy and extend the same invitation.

Setting Up the Party Venue

Return to Simba after inviting all three villagers. He’ll reward you with a No Worry’s Bank Whites party table.

To place this furniture in your valley, open your inventory, navigate to the Furniture section, find the No Worry’s Bank, and place it wherever you’d like. The party can now begin!

Celebrating and Uncovering a Mystery

After the party is set up and the celebration takes place, return to Simba. He’ll express how fantastic the event was.

However, a new problem emerges: Simba realizes he didn’t invite Nala to the party. When you speak with her, she reveals that Simba used to have a special role in the valley, and without fulfilling that role, bad things will continue to happen. You’ll need to help restore whatever position Simba once held.

Feeding Valley Animals

As part of restoring Simba’s role, you’ll need to feed animals throughout the valley. Different creatures have different food preferences:

Rabbits: Love carrots

Squirrels: Love peanuts (available for purchase at Remy’s store)

Sea turtles: Love seafood or seaweed

Approach each animal and press the interact button to feed them their preferred food. You can feed sea turtles items like clams or other seafood.

When feeding a squirrel, use peanuts as they’re the preferred food.

Helpful tip: Once you’ve fed an animal twice, you can unlock them as a companion. Sometimes, you can feed the same animal multiple times in quick succession, which is very useful for completing this quest more efficiently.

Growing Carrots in the Meadow

You’ll also need to plant and grow carrots specifically in the Meadow area of the valley. Take out your shovel and dig holes where you want to plant the carrots.

Important: You must actually grow the carrots to completion—simply planting them doesn’t count. Make sure to water them and let them fully mature. Additionally, do not harvest the carrots once they’re ready, as harvesting will reset your carrot growth counter. The quest requires you to have grown a certain number of carrots, not harvested them.

Completing the Quest

Once you’ve fed all the required animals and planted your carrots in the Meadow, speak with Nala. After your conversation with her, return to Simba for a final chat. This will complete The Great Gathering quest!
