This quest guide will walk you through completing the Treasure Hunt Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You’ll help Scrooge McDuck recover a treasure by locating three pieces of a mysterious map scattered across different locations in the valley. Follow this step-by-step guide to unlock all the secrets and complete this exciting quest.

Starting the Quest with Scrooge McDuck

Begin by speaking with Scrooge McDuck after Ashlа has tempted him with treasure she discovered. Agree to help Scrooge McDuck, and he will give you a gold coin to start your investigation.

Take the gold coin to your inventory and examine it. You’ll see three different pictures appear on the coin, each representing a location you’ll need to visit to find map pieces.

Locating the Three Map Pieces

First Map Piece: Glade of Trust

The first location shown on the coin is the Glade of Trust. Travel to this area and look for the fountain that matches the image on the gold coin. Once you locate the correct spot, take out your shovel and dig up the sparkling ground you’ll find there. This will give you the first piece of the map.

Second Map Piece: Merlin’s House

The second map piece is located in Merlin’s house in the Meadow. Head up to the Meadow and enter Merlin’s house. Look on the floor in front of his desk—you’ll find the second piece of the map lying there. Simply pick it up to add it to your inventory.

Third Map Piece: Dazzle Beach

The final map piece requires digging again, this time on Dazzle Beach near the entrance to another biome. Look carefully at the memory image on the coin—you’re searching for sparkling ground with stones above it. The correct dig spot is near the Forest of Valor entrance area. Once you locate the sparkling ground, use your shovel to dig and retrieve the third piece of the map.

Completing the Quest

Once you’ve collected all three map pieces from the Glade of Trust, Merlin’s house, and Dazzle Beach, return to Scrooge McDuck with your findings. Present him with the three map pieces you’ve gathered. Scrooge will be delighted and thank you for your help, noting that the memory on the coin was pointing them toward the map pieces rather than the treasure itself.
