This quest chain involves collecting various items and trading them with different NPCs across multiple locations. By the end of this guide, you’ll know exactly where to go and whom to talk to in order to complete this quest successfully.

Starting the Quest: Finding the Paperclip

To begin the One Majiri’s Trash Quest, you’ll need to mine rocks in Elderwood. While mining, you’ll eventually find a paperclip that triggers the quest. The initial objective is to “find someone who wants a paperclip.”

Take the paperclip to Cannelly. Once you show her the paperclip, the quest will update, and your new objective becomes finding someone who wants to eat half of a sandwich.

Trading Chain: NPCs and Items

Step 1: Finding Taou for the Sandwich

Your next target is Taou, who is Hashan’s pet. The location of Taou varies depending on the time of day. During the middle of the night, you’ll find Taou in Bahari Bay. However, during the day, Taou wanders around Kiliman Village, making it easier to locate during daylight hours.

If it’s nighttime when you arrive at their location, you may need to wait until morning for Taou to wake up and start wandering. Once you find Taou, speak with them and offer the sandwich.

After giving Taou the sandwich, the quest updates and you receive a big rep. Your new objective is to find someone who wants this big rep.

Step 2: Trading the Big Rep to Sifu

From Kiliman Village, travel to find Sifu. Sifu is willing to take the big rep off your hands. Present the item to Sifu and complete the trade.

After this trade, the quest updates again. You now have a rock and need to find someone who wants protein powder.

Step 3: Delivering Protein Powder to Nio

Your next destination is to find Nio and deliver the protein powder. Once you locate Nio and present the item, they will accept it.

The quest updates once more, and you now possess a catnip string. Your objective is to find someone who wants this ring.

Step 4: Giving the Ring to Eshe

The next NPC in the chain is Eshe. Travel to find Eshe and offer them the ring. Eshe will accept the item, and you’ll receive a Mad Mask.

Step 5: Delivering the Mad Mask to Tamala

With the Mad Mask in your possession, head to Bahari Bay to find Tamala. Look for Tamala at her house location within Bahari Bay. Present the Mad Mask to her.

After Tamala accepts the Mad Mask, the quest updates and you receive a Flotshing or Tail. This item needs to be delivered to Elvisa.

Step 6: Trading the Tail to Elvisa

Return to Kiliman Village to find Elvisa. Give her the Tail, and she will accept it in the trade.

Once Elvisa accepts the Tail, the quest updates one final time. You now have Catnip and need to find the last NPC in the chain.

Step 7: Final Trade with Zeki

The final NPC you need to trade with is Zeki, who operates the General Store in the middle of Kiliman Village. Present the Catnip to Zeki to complete this final trade.

Once Zeki accepts the Catnip, the One Majiri’s Trash Quest will be completed.
