Starting the Quest with Alweza

Begin by speaking with Alweza to accept the quest. She will inform you that you need to find evidence at each of the four sites mentioned above.

Fossil Location 1: Mavisway

Start your fossil hunt at Mavisway. Teleport to the Stables of Mavisway to begin. Once you arrive, navigate to find a pile of dirt in this location. Open the pile of dirt to collect your first Platypus Fossil.

Fossil Location 2: Deep Woods

Next, head to the Deep Woods. Use the fast travel stables to reach this location—most stables are elevated, making it easy to use your glider to travel along the way. As you travel, you may encounter Infected Essence, which you can collect as bonus items. Once at Deep Woods, locate the pile of dirt and open it to obtain another Platypus Fossil.

Fossil Location 3: Red Blossom Cave

Travel to Red Blossom Cave for your third fossil. You can run or glide your way there from your current location. Once inside the cave, climb up the area and use your glider to land in the pond nearby. You’ll spot the pile of dirt in this location. Open it to collect the third Platypus Fossil.

Fossil Location 4: Near Lyla Cavern

The final fossil location is near Lyla Cavern. Search this area for the last pile of dirt and open it to obtain your fourth and final Platypus Fossil.
