Reading the Potato Pad Book in Kilma Village

Head to Kilma Village and locate the library. You have the optional step to ask Calary about the book before proceeding.

Finding Calary (Optional)

Calary is located in the Kilma Village library. Talk to her to complete the optional quest step, then proceed to the book.

Head to your plot and craft the Core Compass equipment. This compass allows you to track rare mining nodes for 15 minutes and gives you the ability to find platinum nodes.

Activating the Compass

Return to Alderwood and activate the Core Compass. Your compass will now track rare nodes in the area.
