How to Boil Murky Water in 7 Days to Die

In 7 Days to Die, finding clean water is essential for survival. Murky water is a common resource you’ll encounter, but drinking it without proper treatment can make you sick. This guide shows you the simple process of boiling murky water into safe, drinkable water using basic crafting materials.

What You Need

Before you can boil your murky water, gather the following items:

Campfire — Requires 5 small stones to craft

Cooking Pot — Essential for the boiling process

Murky Water — The water you want to purify

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Prepare Your Campfire

Start by creating a campfire if you don’t already have one. You’ll need 5 small stones to craft it. Once built, place it in a safe location where you can work.

Step 2: Gather Your Materials

Collect the murky water you want to boil. In this example, we have 125 units of murky water available. You can boil as much as you need, but for demonstration purposes, we’ll boil just one batch at a time.

Step 3: Add Water and Cooking Pot to Campfire

Approach your campfire with your murky water and cooking pot in your inventory. Place the murky water into the cooking pot on the campfire.

Step 4: Wait for the Boiling Process

The boiling process takes approximately 60 seconds. During this time, the campfire will heat the murky water, eliminating contaminants and making it safe to drink.

Step 5: Collect Your Clean Water

Once the boiling is complete, you’ll have purified water that’s safe to drink. This clean water won’t make you sick, unlike the murky water you started with. Remove the cooking pot from the campfire and enjoy your safe drinking water.

Summary

Boiling murky water is a straightforward survival skill in 7 Days to Die. With just a campfire, cooking pot, and 60 seconds of time, you can transform unsafe murky water into clean, drinkable water. This simple process is essential for keeping your character healthy and preventing sickness during your survival journey.
