All Crate Locations for Gaia Research Center Ruins in Once Human

The Gaia Research Center Ruins is a Rosetta facility located in the Broken Delta (far left side of the map) in Once Human. This guide will walk you through all the crate locations within this facility. Be aware that this is a combat zone, so come prepared for action. Whether you’re hunting for weapon crates, gear, or mystical loot, we’ll show you exactly where to find them.

Getting to the Facility

Start at the very entrance of the Gaia Research Center Ruins. The facility is marked on your map, and you’ll immediately notice the large Rosetta logo at the top of the main ramp. You can reach this point without engaging in combat, making it a good starting landmark.

Weapon Crate Locations

Crate #1: Right of the Main Ramp

When you reach the main base at the top of the ramp, turn right immediately. You’ll see several crates stacked in this area. Jump on top of these crates to locate your first weapon crate.

Crate #2: Inside the Building (Downstairs)

From the first crate location, turn and head into the building directly over the crates you just looted. Once inside, locate the staircase at the back and head downstairs. Clear out any enemies in your path. When you reach the main room below, you can jump-glide down if you’re concerned about fall damage. Your second weapon crate is located here in the lower level.

Crate #3: Inside the Tent

Exit the building and return to the main courtyard. Head back past the crates from Crate #1 and move into the adjacent area. You’ll find a tent structure here containing your third and final weapon crate.

Advanced Crate Locations

Crates #4 & #5: Inside the Locked Facility (Rosetta V2 Access Required)

From the tent area, head toward the corner of the main facility. Navigate to the building entrance—note that a gate may initially block your path. Follow the bridge that leads into the facility. The main entrance to the research facility is clearly visible.

Once inside, you’ll see two crates: a mystical crate and a gear crate. However, both are located behind a locked door that requires a Rosetta V2 access card to open. This access card is obtained from level 10-19 strongholds.

Important Note: If you’re experiencing access issues even with a Rosetta V2 card, it may be necessary to obtain the access card specifically from the Gaia Research Center Ruins location itself, possibly by defeating a boss within the facility.

Crate #6: High-Altitude Gear Crate (Bike Recommended)

For the final crate, exit the main facility building and look for the ramp on the right-hand side. It’s recommended to use your bike for this section as it’s easier to navigate. Ride up the ramp, which leads high up the research facility. This crate is located near the large satellite dish at the top of the facility. Be prepared for combat, as there are enemies in this area.

The Gaia Research Center Ruins contains six crates in total: three weapon crates accessible early on, two advanced crates (mystical and gear) requiring a Rosetta V2 access card, and one high-altitude gear crate near the satellite dish.
