All Crate Locations for Gaia Military Base in Once Human

This guide shows you exactly where to find all four crates hidden throughout the Gaia Military Base in Chalk Peak. Whether you’re hunting for weapon crates, gear, or mystical loot, we’ll walk you through each location step-by-step so you can collect everything efficiently.

Gaia Military Base Overview

The Gaia Military Base is located in Chalk Peak, bordering the Broken Delta and sitting south of Pool Grass In, which serves as the main settlement. This heavily guarded compound contains a total of four crates:

2 Weapon Crates

1 Gear Crate

1 Mystical Crate

Most of the base is built on stilts above ground, which limits entry points. The main approach is from the west side. Be prepared for heavy guard presence throughout.

First Weapon Crate: Helicopter Landing Pad

Start by heading down over the bridge at the entrance and make your way toward the first helicopter landing pad.

Once you reach the landing pad, jump up repeatedly to reach the top level. The first weapon crate is located directly behind the helicopter.

Gear Crate and Mystical Crate: Main Compound

Continue deeper into the base by crossing the next bridge heading straight into the main compound. Once you reach the other side, head up the stairs to enter the main area.

The best approach is to go around the front and enter through the main front gate. Be cautious of turrets positioned around this area.

Enter the main building directly ahead. You’ll need an Access Card to unlock the secret passage—these drop from enemies you’ve already killed in the base.

Once you use the access card, you’ll gain entry to the secret area where both the gear crate and mystical crate are located.

Second Weapon Crate: Guard Tower in Third Area

After collecting the gear and mystical crates, head north out of the exit toward the third quadrant of the base. Watch out for a large brute enemy in this area.

Enter the third area through the main building entrance. You can either navigate around the stairs to the ramp area or jump over the tents. Either way, jump up the ramp area to enter the third section.

As soon as you enter, climb up the ladder immediately. Your goal is to reach the guard tower on the south side of this area.

Hide in the nearby building and eliminate the enemies, as this guard tower is guarded. From the building, you can access the guard tower directly. Climb to the top of the guard tower where the second weapon crate is located.

Bonus: Rift Anchor

If you want to activate the Rift Anchor for fast travel, it’s located just south of the guard tower. You can glide down to reach it easily once you’ve collected all the crates.
