How To Get Sea Water In Once Human
Sea water is an essential resource in Once Human that you’ll need for various crafting and survival tasks. This guide will walk you through the simple process of collecting sea water from coastal areas in the game.
Finding a Water Source
The first step is to locate a body of ocean water. Any coastal area will work—in this example, we’ll use Overlock Town, which has an accessible beach perfect for water collection.
Head to the shoreline and position yourself near the water’s edge. Note that even lagoons and shallow coastal waters will work for this purpose.

Collecting Sea Water
Once you’re at the shore, wade into the water until you reach approximately knee depth. At this depth, a prompt will appear on your screen indicating “Press G to collect the water.”

Press the G key to begin collecting water. You’ll notice that the resource collected on your inventory’s left side is labeled as sea water, confirming you’re gathering the correct resource type.

Sea Water Properties
An important characteristic of sea water in Once Human is that it does not expire. This means you can safely store it in your inventory indefinitely without worry of spoilage or degradation.

Summary
Collecting sea water in Once Human is straightforward: find a coastal area, wade into the water to knee depth, and press G when the collection prompt appears. Since sea water doesn’t expire, you can gather as much as you need and store it for later use in crafting and other gameplay activities.
