Step 1: Locating Wild Zone 3

Your first objective is to head to Wild Zone 3. This is where you’ll find the Pikachu you need to catch for this quest.

Step 2: Finding and Catching Pikachu

Once you arrive in Wild Zone 3, Pikachu should be relatively easy to locate. Look for the area near the tower—Pikachu can be found in this specific region.

When you encounter Pikachu, use your Bundle B equipped with Mud Shot if available. Ground-type moves are extremely effective against Electric-type Pokémon like Pikachu, making this the optimal choice for a quick and efficient capture.

After using Mud Shot, you’ll notice the move is very effective. Continue battling until you’ve successfully caught the Pikachu.

Step 3: Returning to Tracy

Now that you’ve caught Pikachu, you need to return to the NPC who gave you this quest. You can use the fast travel feature if available at nearby Poké Stops. If fast travel isn’t accessible to your exact location, find the Poké Stop next door and fast travel there instead.

Once you’re back, talk to Tracy and confirm your readiness to complete the trade by selecting “yes, sure thing.”

Step 4: Trading and Evolution

During your interaction with Tracy, she will accept your Pikachu and initiate a trade. Press Select to proceed with the trade sequence.

Tracy will then give you a Thunderstone and evolve your Pikachu into Raichu using the evolution stone. This completes the evolution process and finalizes your quest.
