All Crate Locations for Highland in Once Human

Highland is located at the southernmost point of the Iron River area in Once Human. This guide will help you locate all four valuable crates in this region: two weapon crates, one gear crate, and one mystical crate. Getting to Highland

To find Highland, head to the Iron River area and navigate to the southernmost point. You can locate it by traveling from the Monolith area—simply go slightly west of the first Monolith and you’ll see Highland marked on your map. The town features distinctive grey cookie-cutter houses and is populated by armed enemies rather than zombies, so approach with caution.

Mystical Crate Location

The mystical crate is located on the western side of Highland, positioned on top of the first building you’ll encounter when entering town from the west. This is the easiest crate to spot due to its prominent rooftop location.

How to Reach the Mystical Crate

Follow these steps to successfully retrieve the mystical crate:

Head down the road toward the grey cookie-cutter houses

Locate the first building as you enter the town from the west

Climb onto the dust bin next to the building

Jump up onto the metal piece attached to the building

Once you’re positioned on the metal section, use the bird companion (activated with V key) to perform a double jump toward the wall. Press V to grab onto the ledge just before impact. This technique takes a few attempts to master, but it’s the most reliable method to reach the roof. After successfully climbing onto the fence, you can loot the mystical crate.

First Weapon Crate Location

The first weapon crate is located inside the grocery store (supermarket) building in the middle of Highland. This is a large, prominent structure that’s impossible to miss.

How to Reach the First Weapon Crate

From the mystical crate location, you can simply glide down onto the grocery store building. Glide toward the entrance and proceed inside. Highland is relatively safe compared to other voucher settlements, with minimal enemy presence in this building.

Once inside, head to the main counter at the back of the store. The weapon crate is positioned directly behind the main counter area, making it easy to locate and collect.

Gear Crate Location

The gear crate is located on top of a building adjacent to the grocery store. To access it, exit the grocery store and look for the ladder on the next building.

How to Reach the Gear Crate

Follow these navigation steps:

Exit the grocery store and locate the ladder on the adjacent building

Climb straight up the ladder to reach the rooftop

Jump over to the next building’s roof

Jump down to the next ledge where the gear crate is located

Second Weapon Crate Location (Bonus)

The second weapon crate is technically outside of Highland proper, located in a small house approximately 300 meters south of the main town. While it’s not technically part of Highland, it’s worth collecting if you’re in the area.

How to Reach the Second Weapon Crate

Use a vehicle (bike or car) to travel south from Highland to the small blue house in the adjacent village. This is the main house of the small settlement. Climb the ladder on the side of the house to reach the roof.

Once on the roof, locate the second weapon crate. This bonus crate is a great addition to your collection route if you’re already in the Highland area.
