Welcome to this comprehensive quest guide for “Breaking The Code” in Disney Dreamlight Valley! In this quest, you’ll work alongside Bell and Dizzy to unlock the secrets of the valley. Getting Started: Talk to Bell

The first step in this quest is to locate and speak with Bell in the valley. She will initiate the quest objectives and provide you with the initial tasks you need to complete.

Collect Marisa’s Design Pages from the Beauty and the Beast Realm

Your primary objective is to find and collect all of Marisa’s design pages scattered throughout the Beauty and the Beast realm. There are four pages total, each hidden in different locations. Here’s where to find them:

Page 1: The Beast’s Room

The first design page is located in the Beast’s room near the rose. You can find it standing next to the globe in that area.

Page 2: The Main Library

Head to the main library to collect the second page. Look in the corner near the fireplace to locate it.

Page 3 & 4: Near the Rose Garden

The remaining design pages can be found near the birch tree just outside the rose garden area. These pages are positioned close to one another, making them easy to collect in sequence.

Return the Design Pages to Bell

Once you’ve collected all the design pages, return to Bell in the main valley. Speak to her and give her all the Marisa design pages you’ve gathered.

Gather Components for the Translation Machine

After handing over the design pages, Bell will ask you to gather components to build a translation machine. You’ll need to collect the following materials:

Required Components

Glass

Tinkering Parts

Soft Wood

Motherboard

How to Obtain Soft Wood

Soft wood can be picked up directly from the plaza area without any crafting required.

How to Obtain Tinkering Parts

Tinkering parts are crafted at your crafting bench. To make them, you’ll need iron ingots. Iron ingots are created by combining iron ore and coal, both of which can be mined from rocks throughout the valley.

How to Obtain Glass

Glass is crafted from sand and coal. Sand can be obtained in two ways: dig it up on Dazzle Beach, or break coral if you’ve completed the required quest for that activity.

How to Obtain the Motherboard

The motherboard is obtained directly from Wally. Head to his location and speak with him to receive the motherboard without needing to craft it.

Craft the Translation Machine

With all your components gathered, return to your crafting bench. Navigate to the “Functional Items” category and select “Translation Machine” to craft it. This will combine all your collected materials into the finished product.

Return the Translation Machine to Bell

Once the translation machine is crafted, bring it back to Bell and give it to her. This will complete the “Breaking The Code” quest!
