Dreamlight Day Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley
This comprehensive guide will walk you through the Dreamlight Day quest with Jack Skellington in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. As Jack’s final friendship quest, it offers a beautiful reward upon completion. Follow along as we tackle each objective, from decorating biomes to photographing cast books and embracing the Uki Boogie fan club.
Starting the Quest with Jack Skellington
Begin by speaking with Jack Skellington to initiate his last friendship quest. Upon completion, he will reward you with a beautiful item.

Decorating the Biomes
Your first major objective is to decorate three specific biomes with themed furniture and decorations. The locations are:
The Forgotten Lands
The Sunlit Plateau
The Peaceful Meadow
You’ll need to place the following items in these areas:
Orange furniture (5 pieces minimum)
Black furniture (multiple pieces)
Quirky furniture (3 pieces)
Lighting fixtures
The Dreamlight Day banner

Using Your Furniture Inventory
A helpful tip: navigate to your furniture section to view all the quest requirements in one place. This makes it easy to track which items you still need to place. You can select items directly from this menu and place them in your chosen biomes.

Photographing the Dreamlight Day Banner
Once you’ve placed all required furniture and decorations, take out your camera and photograph the Dreamlight Day banner to complete this objective.

Speaking with Jack Again
After photographing the banner, return to Jack Skellington and speak with him once more to receive the next set of objectives.

Visiting Vanilla P’s House
Jack will now ask you to check on Vanilla P in her house. Her residence is the large candy house—it’s quite distinctive and impossible to miss. If you need help locating it, look for the oversized candy-themed structure.

Removing the Candy Skulls
Once inside Vanilla P’s house, you’ll discover candy skulls that need to be removed. The solution is simple: water them. Use your watering can on each candy skull to make them disappear. This objective should be completed fairly quickly.

Visiting Scar’s House
Next, travel to Scar’s house to investigate an “insult to his dignity” that he’s complaining about. Inside, you’ll find small vegetable antelope creatures scattered throughout his home.

Removing the Vegetable Antelope
Your objective is to stomp out all six vegetable antelope from Scar’s house. Simply walk over them to remove them. This task is straightforward and should only take a few moments to complete.

Meeting with Olaf
After dealing with Scar’s situation, find Olaf and speak with him to learn about your next objective.

Finding and Photographing Cast Books
Olaf will ask you to locate and remove cast books using your camera. There are multiple cast books hidden throughout different biomes that you need to photograph to make them disappear.
Cast Book Locations
Location 1: Near Olaf’s House (Frosted Heights)
Look near the bridge in the Frosted Heights. There’s a cast book visible near this location that you’ll need to photograph.

Location 2: Dazzle Beach Dock
Head to Dazzle Beach and locate the dock area. You’ll find another cast book near this location. Use your camera to photograph it and make it disappear.

Location 3: Near Olaf’s Residence
Another cast book can be found near where Olaf lives. Note that Olaf resides with Anna and Christoph, not in a separate cave dwelling. This location is near the castle area.

How to Photograph Cast Books
To remove each cast book, simply take out your camera and photograph it. The cast book will disappear once you’ve captured it in your photo.

Visiting Mini’s House
Jack Skellington apparently did something to Mini, so your next task is to visit her house and speak with her to find out what happened.

Embracing the Uki Boogie Fan Club
After speaking with Mini, you’ll need to embrace the Uki Boogie fan club by completing two sub-objectives:
Wear the Uki Boogie T-Shirt
Place Uki Boogie signs in each biome of Dreamlight Valley

Equipping the Uki Boogie T-Shirt
Navigate to your wardrobe and equip the Uki Boogie T-Shirt. This is a straightforward step that marks your support for the fan club.

Placing Uki Boogie Signs
You’ll need to place Uki Boogie signs in each biome throughout Dreamlight Valley. The biomes where you need to place signs include:
The Plaza
The Meadow
Castle Beach
The Forest
Frosted Heights
Sunlit Plateau
The Forgotten Lands

Important Note About Uki Boogie Signs
If you find that you’ve run out of Uki Boogie signs before placing them in all biomes, there appears to be a workaround. You can pick up signs you’ve already placed and move them to other biomes. While this seems unusual, moving signs between biomes should help you complete the objective of having at least one sign in each biome. The quest counter may behave inconsistently as you move items around, but persistence will get you to eight total placements.

Completing the Quest
Once you’ve placed all necessary Uki Boogie signs across the biomes and equipped the Uki Boogie T-Shirt, return to Jack Skellington and speak with him one final time. This will complete the Dreamlight Day quest and conclude Jack’s friendship questline.

Summary
The Dreamlight Day quest is a multi-step adventure that takes you across various biomes and locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley. From decorating with themed furniture to photographing cast books and supporting the Uki Boogie fan club, there’s plenty to accomplish. Take your time with each objective, and don’t hesitate to refer back to your quest log if you need reminders. Completing this final Jack Skellington quest will reward you with a beautiful item and mark the end of his friendship questline.
