Frozen Memories Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Frozen Memories quest is a fun adventure in Disney Dreamlight Valley that involves helping Christoph uncover a magical memory. This quest will take you across multiple locations, require you to gather specific ingredients, and interact with beloved Frozen characters. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete the quest successfully.

Starting the Quest: Talk to Christoph

Begin by locating Christoph in the valley and speaking with him. Ask him “What’s the matter?” to initiate the Frozen Memories quest. He’ll direct you to seek help from Elsa.

Speaking with Elsa

Find Elsa in the village—she may be running around, so keep an eye out for her. Approach her and speak about the Frozen Memories quest. She will inform you that you need to gather two key ingredients: swamp water and aquamarine.

Gathering Ingredients

Acquiring Aquamarine

Aquamarine can be obtained from your storage if you already have some in your inventory. If you need to find where aquamarine drops naturally, there are dedicated guides available to help you locate this resource.

Collecting Swamp Water

Swamp water is found specifically in the Glade of Trust. Look for sparkling objects on the ground near the water’s edge. You’ll see them glimmering alongside the river. To pick up swamp water, simply press E when you’re near the sparkling items. You’ll need to collect three units of swamp water total.

The first swamp water can be found sparkling near the river’s edge—look for the shimmer on the ground.

Press E to pick up the swamp water automatically.

Continue searching nearby, and you’ll find another swamp water near the ponds. Pick this up as well.

Search the area around the ponds for additional swamp water. Be careful not to confuse other items—you may encounter other collectibles like knock eggs, but focus on the swamp water.

Once you’ve collected all three units of swamp water, you’re ready to proceed.

Delivering Ingredients to Elsa

Now that you have both aquamarine and swamp water, locate Elsa again in the village. She may have moved to a different location, so search the area carefully. Approach her and give her both ingredients.

Unfortunately, Elsa will inform you that these ingredients alone aren’t sufficient to recover the memory. You’ll need to find another solution.

Getting Anna’s Hair

To progress further, you need to obtain a lock of Anna’s hair. Find Anna in the village and speak with her. Ask if you can have a lock of her hair. Anna will agree and will cut some of her hair and place it in a flask for you.

Delivering Anna’s Hair to Elsa

With Anna’s hair now in your possession, return to Elsa. Give her the lock of hair, and she will use it with dark magic to create a magic ice block containing the memory.

Placing and Sculpting the Magic Ice Block

Once you receive the magic ice block, you need to place it somewhere in the village. Open your inventory and navigate to the Requests section. Click on Christoph’s picture and select the magic ice block. Place it anywhere convenient in the village.

After placing the magic ice block, you’ll need to sculpt it using a pickaxe. Right-click on the ice block with your pickaxe equipped to begin sculpting.

As you sculpt the ice block, you’ll reveal what’s inside—in this case, a memory of Anna.

Completing the Quest

Once you’ve finished sculpting the magic ice block and revealed the memory, locate Christoph and speak with him one final time. This conversation will complete the Frozen Memories quest.

Quest Complete!

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the Frozen Memories quest. The magic memory has been restored, and Christoph’s storyline has progressed.
