How to Unlock Ursula in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Ursula is one of the earlier characters you’ll unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This guide walks you through the specific quests and requirements needed to bring this villain into your valley. Follow these steps to unlock Ursula and discover where she makes her home.

Prerequisites: Complete the Foundation Quests

Before you can unlock Ursula, you need to complete two foundational quests with Merlin. First, you’ll need to complete the Dream Castle quest. This quest involves the Dream Castle located behind your starting area. Once you’ve done that, move on to the Royal Tools quest, where you’ll unlock your main port tools such as your pickaxe and other essential equipment.

Unlock the Orb of Friendship

After completing the foundation quests, your next objective is to complete the Friendship is Everything quest. This quest is essential because it grants you the Orb of Friendship, which you’ll place on a pillar in the valley. This is a critical step in your progression toward unlocking Ursula.

Unlock Dazzle Beach

With the Orb of Friendship obtained, you now need to unlock the Dazzle Beach location. To do this, complete the quest called With Great Power. This quest is the one that actually opens up Dazzle Beach in your valley.

While most character homes are unlocked through story quests, Ursula’s home is unlocked through a friendship quest that you complete after you’ve already unlocked her as a character. This means you’ll need to build friendship with Ursula to unlock her home, rather than unlocking it as part of the initial character unlock quest.
