How To Upgrade Your Items in Valheim

Checking Item and Workbench Levels

Before you can upgrade any item, you need to verify two things: your item’s current quality level and your workbench’s level. For example, if your Wolf Armor Cape is at level one, you’ll need a level three workbench to upgrade it to level two. Your hammer may already be at max quality and won’t need upgrades.
