Basic Zipline Usage (Early Game)

When you first start Grounded, before defeating the Assistant Manager, ziplines are available but function in a limited capacity. At this early stage, you can only travel down ziplines. You’ll first encounter ziplines when you venture to the hedge area for the first time.

Upgraded Ziplines (Post-Assistant Manager)

Once you defeat the Assistant Manager boss, you unlock the upgraded Zipline functionality. This is a significant quality-of-life improvement that greatly expands your traversal options.

Bidirectional Travel

The upgraded zipline allows you to travel in both directions along the zipline path. By default, the zipline travels downward. To switch directions and travel upward along the zipline, simply press the S key. This will reverse your direction.
