Losing Your Marbles Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

This comprehensive quest guide will walk you through the “Losing Your Marbles” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This quest takes place in the Mythic Trial area and becomes available automatically after completing the Marble Classes. If you’re ready to tackle this puzzle-filled quest, follow along as we break down each phase step by step.

Starting the Quest

The Losing Your Marbles quest begins at the Statue’s Shadow, which is located in the Trial area. The quest automatically triggers once you’ve finished the Marble Classes storyline. Head to the Mythic Trial entrance to begin.

Phase One: The Drawbridge Puzzle

Enter the Mythic Trial and locate Hades. Speak to him to begin the first phase of the quest.

Pulling the Lever

Your first action is to pull the lever to lower the drawbridge. However, the drawbridge won’t stay down on its own—you’ll need to find a way to support it.

After pulling the lever, speak to Hades again. He will instruct you to find a way to hold the drawbridge up.

Moving the Block and Fishing

Head downstairs to begin the puzzle solution. You’ll see a large block that needs to be moved to support the drawbridge.

Push the big block toward the first pillar. Once positioned, use your fishing rod to fish out the item in the water below. This will redirect the water flow around the pillar.

Pushing the Block Along the Path

Continue interacting with the block to push it further along the pillar line. You may need to reposition it multiple times to ensure it’s properly aligned.

Keep pushing the block along its path until it reaches the final position.

Raising the Drawbridge

Return upstairs and pull the lever again to raise the drawbridge. The block should now hold it in place.

Go back downstairs and push the block to its final position.

Pull the lever one final time, then speak to Hades to proceed to the next phase.

Phase Two: The Rotating Platform

Follow Hades to the next area and speak to him again to begin the second puzzle phase.

Rotating the Horizontal Platform

You’ll encounter a rotating platform. Rotate it by pressing your space bar (or the designated control on your platform). The platform will spin all the way around without stopping points.

Note: There is a chest on one side of the platform if you wish to collect it, but it’s optional.

Hold down the space bar to keep the platform rotating, then return to speak with Hades. He will open the gates, allowing you to proceed downstairs to the next puzzle.

Phase Three: The Water and Block Puzzle

The next phase involves water mechanics. You’ll see a clue: “Water gives life.” This indicates you’ll need your watering can.

Watering the Turning Mechanism

Take out your watering can and sprinkle it on the small turning mechanism. One watering is sufficient.

Mining and Positioning

Go behind the mechanism and mine the rocks. Use your net to hit the mechanism, which will spin it around and change its facing direction.

Now you can interact with and push the block along. Push it once, then continue pushing it two more times so that the bridge will rest properly on this block.

Rotating the Platform Again

Follow Hades back up and speak to him. Rotate the platform once more by spinning it twice to complete this phase.

Phase Four: The Final Puzzle

Proceed deeper into the trial to the final puzzle area.

Pushing and Preparing

You’ll see a finger-like object you can push. Move it out of the way first.

Using Your Pickaxe and Watering Can

Use your pickaxe once on the designated spot, then use your watering can on the small turn-style mechanism.

Final Block Pushes

Push the block three times total to complete the puzzle setup.

Interact with the central mechanism to complete the physical puzzle.

Quest Completion

Follow Hades to the final area and speak to him one last time. Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the Losing Your Marbles quest.
