Missing Companion Quest Guide in Crimson Desert

In this quest, you’ll help a crying child find their missing sheep in Crimson Desert. Follow this step-by-step guide to locate the sheep, defeat the bandits holding it captive, and return it safely to its owner.

Starting the Quest

Begin by speaking with the crying child. They will explain that their sheep has gone missing and you’ll need to help find it. To locate the sheep, you’ll need to gather information from multiple NPCs in the area—expect to approach around three different people for clues.

Gathering Information

Finding the First Informant

Head to the shack near the starting area. The first informant is located in this vicinity and will provide crucial information about the sheep’s location.

Learning About the Bandit Camp

The first NPC will reveal that the sheep is being held at a bandit camp. Once you receive this information, a location marker will appear on your map, pinpointing the exact position of the camp. While you can gather additional information from other children in the area, it’s more efficient to head directly to the marked location on your map.

Locating and Clearing the Bandit Camp

Travel to the bandit camp location—it’s situated on top of a nearby hill. Be prepared for combat, as the bandits in this area are significantly strong. You’ll need to defeat all the bandits guarding the camp to proceed.

Rescuing the Sheep

Finding Woolly

After defeating the bandits, you’ll find the sheep—named Woolly—in the camp. Pick up Woolly and carry him back to the child.

Returning with Woolly

For the journey back, we recommend getting a horse to speed up travel. You should be able to ride a horse while holding Woolly, making the return trip faster and easier. However, if needed, you can also walk or run while carrying the sheep.

Completing the Quest

Return to the crying child and place Woolly back with them. This will complete the Missing Companion quest.
