Welcome to this comprehensive guide for completing the Proof of Magic quest in Palia. In this quest, you’ll need to collect 8 Evidence items—4 from Elwisa and 4 from Calary—across multiple islands in the Gaelos region. This guide will walk you through each Evidence location step-by-step, helping you navigate the terrain and reach every objective efficiently.

Quest Overview

The Proof of Magic quest requires you to gather Evidence from two NPCs: Elwisa and Calary. You’ll need to find 4 Evidence items for each NPC across different islands, including the main island and three additional islands with unique terrain features.

Evidence Locations

Main Island – Evidence #1

Start your quest on the main island in Gaelos. Head to the village street and locate the trunk near the center. Interact with it to collect the first Evidence.

Main Island – Evidence #2

The second Evidence is also on the main island. Climb to the top of the temple located in this area. Once inside the temple, look for a locked door. The Evidence will be on the left side of this door.

Waterfall Island – Evidence #3

Travel to the next island featuring waterfalls. Use the portal to reach this location. From the portal, proceed into the area and turn left toward the ruins. You’ll find another Evidence in this ruins area.

Waterfall Island – Evidence #4

From the ruins, turn right and use your glider to navigate across the platforms. Climb the vines from one platform to another, then glide again toward the next set of vines. From the rocks in this area, you’ll spot another Evidence.

Flow Bugs Island – Evidence #5

Head to the island where flow bugs are located. After exiting the portal, climb up the metal grid. Once you reach the top, you’ll see the Evidence directly in front of you.

Flow Bugs Island – Evidence #6

After collecting the previous Evidence, climb again in the same area, aiming for the top platform. Use your glider to traverse the streams multiple times as you ascend. Navigate through the streams carefully, then land on the top platform where you’ll find another Evidence.

Flow Bugs Island – Evidence #7

For this Evidence, you’ll need to drop down three levels from your current position. Land carefully to collect this Evidence.

Final Island – Evidence #8

Travel to the final island to collect the last Evidence. When facing the main area, go to the left toward a spring-shaped platform. Search this area thoroughly for the final Evidence.

Completing the Quest

Return to the Main Island

After collecting all 8 Evidence items, head back to the main island to turn in your findings.

Deliver Evidence to Calary

Once back on the main island, locate Calary and deliver the Evidence to them. Make sure to deliver the notes one at a time.

Deliver Evidence to Elwisa

After completing the delivery to Calary, head to Elwisa and deliver the remaining Evidence. Like before, deliver the notes one at a time.

Quest Completion

Once you’ve delivered all Evidence to both Calary and Elwisa, the quest will update and the investigation will be marked as complete. The Proof of Magic quest will then be officially completed.
