The Missing Prince Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest: Talk to Ariel

Begin by talking to Ariel, who will tell you she’s searched everywhere but cannot find Prince Eric. Your task is to help her by gathering information from the villagers.

Interview the Villagers

Finding and Speaking to Characters

You’ll need to talk to three key villagers: Merlin, Maui, and Christoph. To quickly locate them, use the map feature on the left side of your screen. Deactivate the character you want to find, then reactivate them — they will automatically appear outside their house.

Speaking to Merlin

Start by speaking to Merlin to gather information about Prince Eric’s whereabouts.

Speaking to Maui

Next, locate and speak to Maui. Note that Maui does not live with Moana.

Speaking to Christoph

Finally, find Christoph, who can be located near the Disney Dreamlight Castle. Talk to him to continue the quest.

Search Christoph’s House for Expedition Records

Travel to the Forest of Valor and enter the castle where Christoph lives with Anna. Inside, look for a yellow book on the table — this is the expedition record you need.

Once you’ve found the record, bring it back to Christoph and show it to him.

Travel to Dazzle Beach and locate Skull Rock. When you arrive, the quest will update with new instructions to fish out a clue to the right of Skull Rock.

Find Scrooge McDuck to discuss the statue piece he owns. Before you can get it from him, you’ll need to complete his request.

Gather Paradox Gems for Scrooge McDuck

Scrooge McDuck will ask you to find five Paradox gems in exchange for his statue piece. You can retrieve these from your storage if you already have them. If you need guidance on obtaining Paradox gems, check the gem gathering guides available on the channel.

Once you’ve collected all five Paradox gems, return to Scrooge McDuck and give them to him as a bribe.

Assemble the Prince Eric Statue

Get Super Glue from Ariel

With all the statue pieces gathered, return to Ariel and tell her that you’ve collected everything. She will give you super glue to put the statue back together.

Craft the Statue at a Crafting Station

Go to any crafting station in the game. In the furniture menu, locate and craft the Prince Eric statue using all the pieces you’ve collected.

Place the Statue on Dazzle Beach

Travel to Dazzle Beach and place the Prince Eric statue near the base of the big staircase that leads up to the Medaya Shrine.

Complete the Quest

Collect the Memory

Once you’ve placed the statue, a memory will appear at the location. Pick up this memory, which reveals an important moment related to Prince Eric and Ariel.

Report Back to Ariel
