Gathering Sugar Cane Seeds

You can purchase sugar cane seeds from Goofy’s Stall located in Dazzle Beach. Visit the stall and buy five sugar cane seeds. This is the easiest way to obtain this item.

Gathering Wheat Seeds

Next, head to the meadow where you’ll find Goofy’s other stall. Purchase five wheat seeds from this location to complete this requirement.

Crafting Burlap Bags

Burlap bags are crafted at the crafting table and require the following ingredients per bag:

25 Fiber

10 Soil

To create three burlap bags, you will need a total of 65 Fiber and 30 Soil.

Gathering Fiber

Fiber is crafted from seaweed, which can be picked up from the beach. Craft the fiber you need at the crafting table before making the burlap bags.

Gathering Soil

Soil can be obtained by using your shovel to dig in the meadow. Keep digging until you have collected enough soil, as you may sometimes receive other items instead.

Crafting the Trellis

The trellis is crafted at the crafting table and requires:

2 White Falling Pentasmon

2 Pink Falling Pentasmon

For this quest, you only need to craft one trellis, so gather four falling pentasmon flowers total (two white and two pink). These flowers can be found in the Palazzo area of Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Completing the Quest

Once you have collected and crafted all required items, return to Wally at the pond. Present him with all the items: the sugar cane seeds, wheat seeds, trellis, and burlap bags. Wally will then upgrade the garden site into a fully functional garden.

After Quest Completion

Once the quest is complete, Wally will tend his own garden. You can now:

Visit the garden regularly to harvest Wally’s crops

Upgrade the garden to increase its capacity and efficiency by clicking on the Scrooge McDuck sign near the garden
