Starting the Quest with Woody

Begin by talking to Woody to receive the claw machine pieces from the previous quest. Woody will give you the pieces you’ve already collected and ask you to gather materials to complete the new claw machine.

Gathering Materials for the Claw Machine

You’ll need to collect three types of materials to build the claw machine:

Iron Ingots

Mine iron ore from rocks scattered around the valley. Once you have iron ore, combine it with coal to create iron ingots.

Glass

Craft glass by combining sand and coal ore together.

Hardwood

Hardwood can be found lying around the valley—simply collect it as you explore.

Crafting the Claw Machine

Once you’ve gathered iron ingots, glass, and hardwood, combine these materials along with the functional items Woody provided to craft the claw machine.

Delivering the Claw Machine

Meet Woody inside the carousel with the newly repaired claw machine. Give him the claw machine to advance the quest. If you encounter a bug where the quest doesn’t update, simply talk to Woody again and it should resolve.

Meeting Buzz and Receiving the Alien Toy Quest

After speaking with Woody inside the carousel, go and talk to Buzz. He will ask you to find four alien toys hidden throughout Disney Dreamlight Valley. These toys are scattered across different regions and require various tools to retrieve.

Finding All Four Alien Toys

Four alien toys are hidden in specific locations across the valley. Here’s where to find each one:

Alien Toy #1: Scar’s Cave (Sunlit Plateau)

The easiest alien toy to find is located in Scar’s Cave in the Sunlit Plateau. Simply enter the cave and pick up the alien toy off the floor.

Alien Toy #2: Giant Willow (Glade of Trust)

Head to the Glade of Trust near the Giant Willow tree where Mother Goose lives. Look for an alien toy poking its head out of the sand on the island’s central area. Use your shovel to dig it out.

Alien Toy #3: Frozen in Ice (Frosted Heights)

Travel to the Frosted Heights and locate the bridge in the middle of the region. You’ll see an alien toy frozen inside an ice block. Use your pickaxe to break the ice and retrieve it.

Alien Toy #4: Under Sand (Dazzle Beach)

The final alien toy is buried under the sand in a small corner near the cliffs of Dazzle Beach. Use your shovel to dig it out from the sand.

Completing the Quest

Once you’ve collected all four alien toys, you need to return them to Woody. A helpful tip: use the map feature to quickly navigate to Woody’s house. Simply open the map, deselect and then re-select Woody’s name, and he will appear at his house for easy delivery.

Give all the alien toys to Woody, and the Wanted Aliens quest will be marked as complete.
