Step 1: Talk to the Villagers

The first task is to speak with three specific villagers to share Mike’s jokes with them. You’ll need to locate and talk to:

Vanilla P

The Fairy Godmother

Wally

Start by finding Vanilla P, then proceed to the Fairy Godmother, and finally speak with Wally. Once you’ve completed conversations with all three villagers, you’re ready to move on.

Step 2: Report Results to Mike Wazowski

After gathering feedback from all three villagers, return to Mike Wazowski to report the results of the jokes.

Step 3: Speak with Sally

Following your conversation with Mike, you’ll need to speak with his best buddy, Sally. You can find Sally in the meadow area.

Step 4: Gather Items from Monsters Inc. Realm

Now you need to collect the following items from the Monsters Inc. Realm:

10 Laugh Canisters

1 Whoopy Cushion

1 Rubber Chicken

Accessing Monsters Inc. Realm

Enter the Disney Dreamlight Castle and head to the top floor. The Monsters Inc. Realm entrance is the door on the left side of the M.

Finding the Laugh Canisters

Inside the Monsters Inc. Realm, you’ll find Laugh Canisters in storage containers throughout the area. Open the storage containers to collect the canisters. The containers in the middle of the room typically yield multiple canisters—some contain 2, while others contain 3. You need to collect a total of 10 Laugh Canisters.

Finding the Rubber Chicken

The Rubber Chicken is located on the front desk in the main reception area. As soon as you enter the Monsters Inc. Realm, you’ll see the desk directly in front of you. Pick up the Rubber Chicken from there.

Finding the Whoopy Cushion

The Whoopy Cushion can be found in the office area of the Monsters Inc. Realm. Look for it on the floor in the reception office and pick it up.

Step 5: Give Items to Vanilla P

Once you’ve collected all items from the Monsters Inc. Realm, exit the Dreamlight Castle and return to the valley to find Vanilla P. Give her the Rubber Chicken and the Whoopy Cushion. She will try them out, and it’s quite hilarious to watch!

Step 6: Report Progress to Mike Wazowski

Return to Mike Wazowski and report your progress. Let him know that you’ve successfully given the items to Vanilla P for testing.

Step 7: Gather Crafting Materials

Now you need to gather the following materials to craft the Comedic Meet and Greet:

10 Laugh Canisters (already collected)

Bricks

Fiber

Iron Ingots

Collecting Iron Ingots

Iron Ingots are crafted items. To create them, you’ll need Iron Ore, which you can obtain by mining rocks found throughout the valley. Once you have Iron Ore, smelt it at the crafting bench to create Iron Ingots.

Collecting Fiber

Fiber is made from Seaweed, which you can find on the beach. Collect seaweed and craft it into fiber as needed.

Collecting Bricks

Gather the bricks needed for your crafting project. These can typically be found or crafted through standard crafting methods.

Step 8: Craft the Comedic Meet and Greet

Once you have all the required materials, navigate to the Furniture crafting section. Look for “Comedic Meet and Greet” in the furniture menu and craft it using your collected materials.

Step 9: Show the Comedic Meet and Greet to Mike

After crafting the Comedic Meet and Greet, show it to Mike Wazowski. He will be excited about your creation and will give you the item back.

Step 10: Place the Comedic Meet and Greet

Place the Comedic Meet and Greet furniture piece anywhere in the village that you’d like. This will serve as the venue for the comedy night.

Step 11: Complete the Comedy Night Photo

Once the Comedic Meet and Greet is placed, you’ll gather together for a comedy night celebration. Take a picture during this event to kick off the comedy night and progress the quest.
