Step 1: Talk to Vanilla P

After chatting with Mike, your first objective is to talk to Vanilla P. You’ll notice there are now comedy night signs displayed in the plaza throughout the area. Locate and speak with Vanilla P to progress.

Step 2: Prepare a Delicious Cheesecake

Next, you’ll need to make a delicious cheesecake. Scrooge McDuck will ask you to bring one to him. To craft this item, access your inventory and use the cheesecake recipe book.

The cheesecake is a simple recipe that requires the following ingredients:

Cheese

Wheat

Sugarcane

Strawberries

Head to your house or wherever your cooking station is set up and prepare the cheesecake.

Step 3: Give Vanilla P the Cheesecake

Give the cheesecake you’ve prepared to Vanilla P. Even though she’s already advertising the comedy night around town, she’ll agree to perform once you present her with the dish.

Step 4: Return to Mike with the News

Go back and talk to Mike Wazowski to inform him about your conversation with Vanilla P. You’ll need to speak with him twice during this phase.

Step 5: Listen to the Managerial Conversation

After your second conversation with Mike, you need to listen to Sully and Scrooge McDuck having a managerial conversation. This is where the “have your people talk to my people” moment happens—it’s quite amusing! Once you’ve listened to their exchange, check in with Mike again.

Step 6: Place Mike’s Face on Emotional Posters

The next task involves placing Mike’s face on emotional posters located throughout various areas of Dreamlight Valley. You’ll need to paste stickers on four posters in different locations. Visit each location and interact with the poster to apply the stickers.

Go to Mike’s house (the location will depend on where you’ve placed it) and enter to discuss the comedic situation. You’ll notice the house is shared with Sally and styled like a college dorm, which is a nice touch. Talk to Mike inside his house.

Step 8: Clean Up the Rubber Chickens

Inside Mike’s house, you’ll find a ridiculous number of rubber chickens scattered on the floor. Your task is to clean them up by interacting with each one. You can stamp on them to remove them. After cleaning, talk to Mike once more.

Step 9: Get the Camera from Sally

Mike will ask you to retrieve a video camera from Sally. Exit Mike’s house and locate Sally. You may need to deselect Sally and then reenable him to make him reappear in the plaza near his house. Once you find him, talk to Sally to receive the video camera.

Step 10: Give Mike the Video Camera

Return to Mike and give him the video camera you received from Sally. This will set up the stage for the comedy show.

Step 11: Watch the Comedy Show

Head back to Mike’s house and enter. You’ll see that everything is now set up for comedy night. The house is decorated and ready for the performance. Stand and watch as Mike performs his comedy set.

Step 12: Capture a Moment with the Camera

During the comedy performance, pick a good moment and interact with the camera to capture a photo. This will add a movie still to your inventory.

Step 13: Collect the Furniture Pouch

Pick up the pink furniture pouch located in front of Mike’s house. Open it in your inventory to reveal its contents. Inside, you’ll find the Vanilla P and Mike’s Billboard item.

Step 14: Place the Billboard

Access your inventory and navigate to Furniture → Requests to find the Vanilla P and Mike’s Billboard. This is a relatively small furniture item. Place it near Mike’s house so he can experience his newfound fame. You may need to adjust the placement to ensure it’s close enough to register—try positioning it opposite the house entrance for best visibility.

Step 15: Talk to Mike and Complete the Quest

Speak with Mike one final time. He’ll be thrilled about the billboard and will reward you with a lovely dress or top to wear. Upon completing this interaction, the “Have Your People Talk to My People” quest is officially complete!
